The Chicago Bulls travel to Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks for a Thursday night matchup. On Nov. 4, the Knicks beat the Bulls 117-104. Kristaps Porzingis led the Knicks with 27 points and five rebounds. Jimmy Butler will miss the contest as he is dealing with an illness. New York has lost nine of their last 10 games, and Chicago has lost two straight. The Knicks are led by Carmelo Anthony who is averaging 22.1 points and six rebounds. Chicago is led by Butler who is putting up 25 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.6 assists. Can Porzingis lead the Knicks to a much-needed victory against the shorthanded Bulls?
Bulls blow lead against Wizards
The Washington Wizards beat the Chicago Bulls 101-99 on Tuesday night. Washington outscored Chicago 52-38 in the second half. Denzel Washington led the Bulls with 19 points on 5-of-11 from 3-point range. Michael Carter-Williams went for 14 points and seven rebounds. The Wizards shot 51 percent from the field and the Bulls only shot 40 percent. Chicago had struggle containing John Wall who had 26 points and 14 assists. Robin Lopez wound up with 14 points and six rebounds.
Rajon Rondo added 12 points and six assists in the loss. Rondo had missed the last five games due to coach’s decisions. Both teams were sloppy with the ball as the Wizards had 21 turnovers and the Bulls committed 18. Chicago fell to 7-12 on the road this season.
Knicks fall to 76ers at buzzer
The New York Knicks lost 98-97 to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night. T.J. McConnell connected on a midrange jumper at the buzzer to win the game. Philadelphia trailed by 10 with just under three minutes to play. Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 28 points and three blocks. Derrick Rose was terrific in the loss going for 25 points on 11-of-16 shooting. New York shot 49 percent from the field and Philadelphia shot 39 percent. Philadelphia out-rebounded New York 47-41 in the contest. Kyle O’Quinn wound up with 10 points and 15 rebounds off the bench.
Kristaps Porzingis continued his struggles as he had seven points on 3-of-11 shooting. Porzingis is averaging 10.7 points on 31 percent shooting over his last three games. The Knicks fell to 6-14 on the road this season.

Chicago won’t have Butler in this contest but they should still hang around against a struggling Knicks team. Anthony will play well for the Knicks and lead them to a narrow win. The Bulls are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. Eastern Conference.
