Dignitas vs. Syman Preview & Prediction - Free CS:GO Betting Picks 8/8

The Eden Arena Malta Vibes Cup 6 Playoffs are set to begin, and we have a quarterfinal contest upcoming between Dignitas and Syman. The Playoffs stage features the top eight teams from the Group Stage participating in a single-elimination bracket. All matches within the Playoffs stage are scheduled as best-of-three map matches. There's a lot on the line here as the winner will be locked in to an event payout of at least $2,500 USD while the loser will leave empty-handed.

The Swedish squad Dignitas comes into this contest ranking 54th in the world. Their roster was formerly under the NiP brand, and during that time they were once ranked number one in the world. Dignitas has only played two games since June 22nd, but they beat Singularity 16-7 in a single map match and then swept Izako Boars 2-0 in a three map series. Train, Dust2 and Mirage have been thorns in the sides of Dignitas, and their current five man roster has been really good on Nuke and Vertigo.

Their opponent for this match will be the 36th ranked Syman. They have been a tough team since the June 6th addition of kade0 who had been playing as a sub for the team before officially joining the team. Syman has quite a few great wins on their resume, but at the same time they have some very questionable losses as well. Train has been the best map for the team recently, and they've been tough on Overpass and Mirage as well. Their map pool isn't extremely impressive, but it doesn't look bad either.

Pick: Dignitas Spread -1.5 Maps (+100 @ Bovada)

I am all over Dignitas to sweep in this one. Syman is no doubt a tough team in their own right, but don't let the lower world ranking for Dignitas fool you. Much of their decline in the rankings has simply been because of inactivity, but they have looked impressive in their two matches before today. It's worth noting that both of these teams will be playing matches in a different event earlier in the day, so both teams should have no rust. I simply believe that Dignitas has the better roster and map pool, and they should have no issue pulling the sweep here.
