Natus Vincere and the Ninjas in Pyjamas face each other in the group stage of DreamHack Masters Spring EU. The DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe is a sixteen team online CS:GO tournament. The event has a prize pool of $160,000 for the European segment. With the best CS:GO teams in the region, the European section of the tournament is bound to throw up some exciting possibilities and plays for CS:GO viewers.
The sixteen teams are divided into four groups of four teams each. The teams will play best-of-three matches against each other and the group’s winners will move to the upper bracket of the playoffs. The second and third-placed teams in each group move to the lower bracket of the tournament. The playoffs feature a double elimination bracket with the grand finals being a best-of-five affair.
Natus Vincere is the world’s second best team behind Astralis. The CIS roster recently defeated Vitality, which features the world’s best CS:GO player in Zyw0o. Na’Vi’s strength lies in their extremely high skill ceiling. Players like S1mple and Electronic can take control of the match on their best days. The players are two of the best players in the world and when both of them perform well, there is no stopping Na’Vi. Unfortunately for Na’Vi, the team’s playstyle focuses on a team chemistry and gameplay. This means, the two players are often dependent on their teammates to produce good results. With the rest of the squad often failing to live up to expectations, Na’Vi's results can be inconsistent.
The Ninjas in Pyjamas features a Swedish CS:GO lineup that has moved up the ranks significantly in the past few weeks. NiP’s CS:GO roster has produced several upsets and looks set to crash into the top ranks of CS:GO very soon. However with Na’Vi in excellent form, NiP’s chances in this match look bleak.
