Team Vitality and ENCE will face each other in the DreamHack Masters EU group D. The DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe is a sixteen team online CS:GO tournament. The event has a prize pool of $160,000 for the European segment. With the best CS:GO teams in the region, the European section of the tournament is bound to throw up some exciting possibilities and plays for CS:GO viewers.
The sixteen teams are divided into four groups of four teams each. The teams will play best-of-three matches against each other and the group’s winners will move to the upper bracket of the playoffs. The second and third-placed teams in each group move to the lower bracket of the tournament. The playoffs feature a double elimination bracket with the grand finals being a best-of-five affair. The winner of the tournament secures a prize pool of $54,000.
Team Vitality lost its opening match to Natus Vincere with a 1-2 score. The French team however, was extremely confident in its playstyle. Zyw0o and company were able to take Na’Vi to thirty rounds on Dust 2, which is a significant feat considering Na’Vi’s strength on the map. Vitality’s performance over the past few months has been inconsistent. However, if the players step up during the DreamHack Masters Spring EU tournament, Team Vitality could be a force to reckon with.
ENCE has never been top contender in this group. With Na’Vi and Team Vitality present in Group D, ENCE’s best bet would be to aim for the third place in the group. The Finnish team has produced inconsistent results and most of the team’s recent wins were against lower ranked opponents. Team Vitality has the firepower and the necessary form to easily defeat ENCE in the Group D match.
