Diamondbacks Fall Short Of Playoffs Due To Pitching

The key to their offense stems from their ability to get on base and bring home runners with their impressive hitting. Unfortunately, this was not enough to counter their poor pitching, which sat 23rd overall in ERA at 4.47 and 18th in home runs. Arizona will look to strengthen their pitching core and bullpen for next season to match the strength of their offense.
