CFL Playoff Picks and Predictions for Saturday, October 31, 2026

The CFL playoffs are here, and Saturday’s two division semifinals should give us a couple of good football games. Winnipeg travels to Toronto for the Eastern Semi-Final, while Saskatchewan heads to Vancouver to face the BC Lions in the Western Semi-Final.

Both games involve teams that finished the regular season with identical records to their opponents. That makes the betting lines interesting. Toronto is favored by about four points, and BC is laying around seven against Saskatchewan. I’m not particularly eager to give away that many points in an elimination game.

CFL Playoff Picks at a Glance

Winnipeg Blue Bombers vs. Toronto Argonauts

Winnipeg and Toronto both finished 9-9, and that’s fitting because neither club has done enough to deserve an overwhelming advantage. Toronto gets the home field, but Winnipeg has been through enough postseason battles to understand how to manage a tight elimination game.

The Argonauts are favored by roughly four points, with a total of 57.5. Toronto should have scoring opportunities, especially if it can establish the running game, but Winnipeg doesn’t need to dominate offensively to stay within the spread.

ATS Pick: Winnipeg Blue Bombers +4.5

I’ll take Winnipeg with the points if 4.5 is available. Toronto has the better home situation and could certainly win, but this looks like a game that could be decided by a field goal. The Blue Bombers have enough experience to keep things competitive, and getting more than four points in a playoff game appeals to me.

Total Pick: Under 57.5

Both offenses can score, but elimination games often come down to field position and avoiding mistakes. I’m expecting both clubs to be a little more cautious with the football, particularly early. A defensive or special-teams touchdown is the obvious danger, but I’ll take the under at 57.5.

CFL Picks: Toronto ML | Winnipeg +4.5 | Under 57.5

Saskatchewan Roughriders vs. BC Lions

Saskatchewan and BC both finished 10-8, yet the Lions are favored by about a touchdown. BC has home field and enough offensive firepower to create separation, but that’s a fairly substantial number against a team that won just as many regular-season games.

The Roughriders have shown they can compete away from home. They’ll need to avoid turnovers and prevent BC from turning this into a track meet, but Saskatchewan doesn’t have to win outright to make this a good wager.

ATS Pick: Saskatchewan Roughriders +7.5

Give me Saskatchewan with the points. BC is the more likely winner at home, but laying more than a touchdown in an elimination game feels excessive. Saskatchewan has enough talent to keep this close, and the extra half-point above seven is valuable.

Total Pick: Under 58.5

The Lions can put points on the board, and Saskatchewan has enough offense to contribute. Still, 58.5 is a substantial total for a playoff game. I expect both teams to put a premium on protecting the football and avoiding short fields. I’ll take the under.

CFL Picks: BC ML | Saskatchewan +7.5 | Under 58.5

CFL Best Bet of the Week

Saskatchewan Roughriders +7.5 against the BC Lions is my CFL Best Bet of the Week. The teams finished with identical 10-8 records, and while BC deserves to be favored at home, asking the Lions to win by eight or more is a different proposition.

Saskatchewan can lose a competitive game and still cover. That’s the position I want.

Final Pick: Saskatchewan Roughriders +7.5
