Creighton gets tested early on

The Bluejays last played on Nov. 19, defeating North Dakota at home 75-60 as a 28-point favorite. Blake Hraper led the team with 19 points, while Josh Dix added 16. Harper, a 6-7, 220-pound guard, leads the Blujays with 13 points per game and 7.5 rebounds. Last season, he averaged 19.5 points and 6.2 rebounds at Howard. Dix adds 11 points and shoots just 36.6% from the field after averaging 14.4 points for Iowa last season.

Bears get first big test
Baylor has won three games against UT Rio Grande Valley 86-81, Washington 78-69 and in their last game, they took care of Tarleton State 94-81 on November 14 as a 24-point favorite. Cameron Carr (6-5, 195) is averaging 23.7 points and scored 27 against Tarleton State on 10 of 13 shots. The Bears' defense was good against every player but Dior Johnson, who scored 42 points on 17 of 24 shooting for the Texans. Baylor shot 58% from the field and 41% from long range (11 of 27).
Carr is a transfer from Tennessee who saw limited time there. Dan Skillings adds 13.3 points per game, and he's shooting 48.4% from the field. Carr is a transfer from Cincinnati, who averaged 9.3 points last season. KenPom has Baylor at 19th in Adjusted Offense, 36th in Adjusted Defense, and 20th overall.

They'll take advantage of a leaky defense in this tournament game.
