The 23rd-ranked Creighton Bluejays are looking to be a force this season as they are going to have a lot of new faces in the starting lineup. Their program saw Ryan Kalkbrenner (19.2 ppg) and Steven Ashworth (16.4 ppg) no longer be in the program while attacking the transfer portal to replace the production.

South Dakota Coyotes at Creighton Bluejays Pick
Spread Pick for Coyotes vs. Bluejays
- Creighton Bluejays -27.5 (5 units)
Even with the amount of changes happening with the Creighton program, they are significantly more talented than the South Dakota team right now. South Dakota could not defeat Utah Tech, which makes the chances of them being able to play a semi-close game with one of the top teams in college basketball a stretch of an idea. Creighton has an incredible home-court advantage at CHI Health Center Omaha and is going to be looking to prove they can win without Ryan Kalkbrenner on the roster to lead the way. They recruited well, both in the transfer portal and traditionally, so go with the Creighton Bluejays to cover the large number here.
Over/Under Pick for South Dakota vs. Creighton
- OVER 166.5 (5 units)
The South Dakota Coyotes have just proven that they can allow a lot of points and then upping with a team with the caliber of getting hot like Creighton’s means a lot of points should be scored. The Coyotes only shot 37.9% from the floor in their opening game of the season, but they should be able to improve in that aspect as they are in their second game of the year and able to connect on at least 40.0% from the field. Last year, the Coyotes ranked first in pace of play according to KenPom. Creighton is one of the top offensive teams as well so take OVER 166.5 POINTS in this game.
