Air Force vs Wyoming Picks and Prediction

Pick: Air Force Falcons -5.5

Air Force has been playing some of its best football over the last month and should be able to continue that success against Wyoming on Friday night. The Falcons have won four straight games, scoring at least 28 points in three of those victories while showing they can also win defensive battles. Air Force is without their starting QB but still has an abundance of weapons that will move the ball and light up the scoreboard against a mediocre Β Wyoming team. The Cowboys have also struggled to generate consistent production through the passing game, which could make things difficult if Air Force establishes an early lead. Wyoming will have the home-field advantage, but the Falcons have been the more consistent team and should have enough offensive production to secure their fifth consecutive victory.

Pick: Under 44.5

Friday night's matchup has the potential to develop into a physical, run-heavy contest that limits scoring opportunities for both teams. Air Force relies heavily on its rushing attack, which allows the Falcons to control possession and take significant time off the clock with sustained drives. Wyoming also features a quarterback capable of making plays with his legs, but the Cowboys have struggled to establish a reliable passing attack throughout the season. That could become a problem against an Air Force defense that held Navy to nine points and Northern Illinois to seven earlier this month. Although both teams scored 41 points in their most recent outings, those performances do not necessarily indicate another high-scoring contest. With both offenses likely emphasizing the running game and limiting possessions, expect longer drives and fewer opportunities for explosive scoring plays. Take the under in a competitive Mountain West matchup.

Final Picks Air Force Falcons -5.5 and Under 44.5
