Spread Pick for Akron at Bowling Green

  • Akron Zips  +3.5 (4 units)

With the question mark surrounding the availability of Drew Pyne for Bowling Green, that leaves some doubt in the team’s ability to pass the football. Akron is coming off one of their best offensive performances of the season in their last game and should be able to stack the box against Bowling Green to limit them. Akron is 4-1 ATS in their last five games against Bowling Green, so go with the Akron Zips to cover on the road here.

Over/Under Pick for Akron vs. Bowling Green

  • OVER 47 (5 units)

These offenses last week showcased their ability to score points in bunches and should be able to do so once again. The defenses are struggling to get stops throughout the season as the Falcons are 95th in the NCAA with 5.8 yards per play allowed, while the Zips are 103rd in the nation with 6.0 yards per play given up this season. These teams are going to be able to move the ball in chunks so go with the OVER as the better bet here.
