Western Kentucky turning things around
The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers have won at least eight games in each of their previous five seasons and have won four bowl games during that span. The Hilltoppers (3-4) were pummeled by Indiana in the non-conference portion of the schedule, but have rebounded with victories in two of their first three Conference USA tilts. Last time out, Western Kentucky limited Sam Houston to 177 yards of total offense during a 16-3 road victory.Β
Western Kentucky jumped on the scoreboard five minutes into the game on a Brock Glenn 23-yard touchdown pass to Coleson Arends. Glenn added a team-high 54 rushing yards on 22 carries. Karl Campbell nailed all three field goal attempts for the Hilltoppers.Β
