Coastal Carolina Far from Impressive in Win
Coastal Carolina was at home in their last game, where they were less than impressive in a 13-0 win over FCS Charleston Southern. While the Chanticleers outgained the Buccaneers 384 yards to 153 yards, they turned the ball over three times and narrowly missed turning the ball over a fourth time. Backup QB Tad Hudson came in and scored the lone TD on a run after starter MJ Morris was picked off three times. Dominic Knicely led the way with 92 rushing yards and Bryson Graves had five catches for 61 yards. Coastal Carolin came nowhere near covering as a 28.5-point favorite and did not cover in their opener, where they lost badly to Virginia 48.7.
