Kentucky Wildcats vs. Auburn Tigers, Preview, Odds, Picks and Prediction, Saturday November 1, 2025

The College Football season is hitting its stride now, and while some teams have lost their hopes of a College Football Playoffs spot, there's still plenty on the line, especially in our Kentucky Wildcats vs. Auburn Tigers prediction.

The Kentucky Wildcats (2-5, 0-5 SEC) have dropped four straight games, three of those coming against ranked opponents, and after a solid start to the season, it appears as though the wheels have now well and truly fallen off.

On Saturday, they battle the Auburn Tigers (4-4, 1-4 SEC), a team that has also faced a ridiculously tough schedule as of late, and with the team now back to .500, they look to settle themselves before a major stretch in the coming weeks. Read on to see our Kentucky Wildcats vs. Auburn Tigers prediction. If you are struggling to pick winners, you've come to the right place. We have the strongest NCAAF Predictions.

Can Kentucky pick up their first road win?

The Kentucky Wildcats' season hasn't gone exactly the way they would have hoped, and with an 0-2 record away from home thus far, this is a team that simply hasn't given themselves a chance to compete in the SEC this season. Offensively, the Wildcats have struck a solid balance this season, with the team ranking top 100 in the NCAA in rushing and passing yards with an average of 361 total yards per game, but giving up an average of 30 points a night simply hasn't allowed them to build any momentum.

After flashing some promise a year ago, freshman QB Cutter Boley has stepped up to the plate, posting a 9/5 TD/INT ratio this season, and with the team rushing for 11 scores on the season, it's safe to say that their offense hasn't been the problem to this point. Last time out for the Wildcats was a tough loss to the ranked Tennessee Volunteers, with Boley tossing an impressive five touchdowns on the day, while the defense just couldn't keep up, allowing 504 yards on the day as they came up short in a fun game, 56-34.

On the season, Kentucky is allowing 385 yards per game and 253 yards in the air. Offensively, they are averaging 207 yards passing per game and 154.3 yards running (69th).

Can Auburn get back over .500?

The Auburn Tigers have faced an incredibly tough schedule this season, and while they're sitting at 4-4 overall, the team are a perfect 4-0 in games played against unranked opponents thus far, with the team going 3-2 at home. This season, the Tigers have averaged just 25 points a game with 340 total yards averaged to this point, but defensively they've been stellar, ranking 27th in the NCAA in yards allowed, with their 19 points a game allowed ranking them top-20 as well.

Unfortunately, the offense just hasn't been explosive under QB Jackson Arnold, who has thrown just six touchdowns across eight games, but with 15 total scores on the ground, they've found a major strength that they can lean on. Last time out for the Tigers was a much-needed win over the Arkansas Razorbacks, with just 150 yards through the air on the day as they managed an impressive 230 on the ground, and with the defense forcing four turnovers, they did just enough to come away winners 33-24.

Ashton Daniels came in to replace Arnold, who was pulled after throwing a pick. Arnold is completing 63.6% of his passes for 1,190 yards with five TDs and a pick, but has 261 yards rushing and seven TDs. Daniels is a Stanford transfer who has not played all season until the Arkansas game, where he threw for 77 yards. Last season, he completed 62.7% of his passes for 1,700 yards with 10 TDs and 12 INTs. This will be a competition and head coach Hugh Freeze might not decide closer to game time.

Kentucky Wildcats vs. Auburn Tigers picks

Moneyline pick for Kentucky vs. Auburn

  • Auburn -11 (4 units)

Both of these teams come into this matchup full of struggles as of late, but with the Tigers having a strength on both sides of the ball, while the Wildcats have struggled to stop opposing teams, it's easy to see why the home team is favored in this one.

On top of that, the Wildcats are winless away from home this year, while Auburn is 4-0 against unranked opponents, and after the Tigers won their corresponding meeting a year ago, expect them to make another SEC statement with a win in this matchup.

Over/under pick for Kentucky vs. Auburn

  • Under 46.5 (4 units)

In their head-to-head encounter in 2024, a total of just 34 points was scored between these two teams, and with neither getting their offense going at an elite level in 2025, expect this one to be just as much of a defensive grind.

For the Wildcats, the under sits at 5-5 in their last 10 overall games, with a total of 41 points scored in their last three games played on the road dating back to 2024, and for the Tigers, the under comes in at 7-3 in their past 10, with the team allowing a total of 61 points in four home games this season.

Keep it simple, take the under.
