The No. 2 Oregon Ducks travel to Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to face the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday, September 12. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET on ESPN. Oregon opened the season with a hard-fought 34-27 victory over Boise State, while Oklahoma State suffered a disappointing 24-10 loss at Tulsa in the debut of head coach Eric Morris. The current betting market has Oregon favored by 19.5 points with the total at 60.5. Before placing your wagers, check out our free college football picks for more predictions throughout the season.

Oregon Survives Tough Opening Test

Oregon was tested immediately by Boise State but ultimately escaped with a 34-27 victory. The Ducks outgained the Broncos 497-274, producing 378 passing yards and 119 rushing yards. Oregon's biggest problems were self-inflicted, including 10 penalties for 90 yards and an 0-for-3 performance on fourth down.

Dante Moore completed 28 of 37 passes for a career-high 378 yards and three touchdowns. Jordon Davison added 90 rushing yards, while Jeremiah McClellan produced 150 receiving yards. The Ducks didn't take their first lead until late in the third quarter, but their ability to respond after falling behind was encouraging.

Oregon now faces an Oklahoma State defense that allowed Tulsa to generate six plays longer than 20 yards in Week 1. The Ducks need to clean up the penalties, but their explosive passing attack creates a substantial matchup advantage.

Oklahoma State Struggles in Eric Morris Debut

Oklahoma State's season began with a 24-10 loss at Tulsa. The Cowboys committed four turnovers, including two interceptions and two lost fumbles, while also turning the ball over on downs three times. Four Oklahoma State possessions reached Tulsa territory without producing points.

Drew Mestemaker threw for 241 yards, while Caleb Hawkins rushed for 79 yards and Wyatt Young finished with 84 receiving yards. Oklahoma State generated only one offensive play longer than 20 yards, however, and starting left tackle Jacob Sexton left the game with a leg injury.

The Cowboys now face an enormous increase in difficulty. Oregon produced nearly 500 yards against Boise State and possesses the passing game necessary to punish Oklahoma State if the Cowboys continue giving opponents additional possessions.

Oregon vs Oklahoma State Picks and Prediction

Pick: Oregon -19.5

Playing at Boone Pickens Stadium gives Oklahoma State an advantage, but Oregon -19.5 is the preferred side. The Ducks generated 497 yards against a quality Boise State opponent, while Oklahoma State committed four turnovers and scored only 10 points against Tulsa. Moore's 378-yard opener also exposes a major concern for an OSU team that surrendered several explosive plays. If Oregon reduces the penalties and fourth-down mistakes from Week 1, the Ducks should create separation. Take Oregon -19.5.

Pick: Under 60.5

The Under 60.5 gets the call. Oregon is capable of doing most of the scoring, but Oklahoma State produced only 10 points against Tulsa and now faces a much more talented opponent. The Cowboys' turnover problems and lack of explosive plays make it difficult to project them contributing enough to force this game into the 60s. Something around 41-13 or 42-14 fits the matchup. Take Under 60.5.

Final Picks: Oregon -19.5 and Under 60.5
