Tulane vs Army Picks and Prediction

Pick: Army Black Knights -3 (-102)

Army will have a good opportunity to pick up a conference victory Saturday when Tulane comes to West Point. The Black Knights have a style of play that can make things difficult for opposing defenses, especially when they are able to establish their rushing attack. Tulane has enough offensive talent to challenge Army, but the Green Wave will need to make the most of their possessions. Army should focus on controlling the football and keeping Tulane's offense on the sideline for extended stretches. The Black Knights will also benefit from playing at home in what should be a competitive conference matchup. Army should be able to dictate the pace and make enough plays to come away with the win.

Pick: Under 48.5 (-115)

Possession time will be important Saturday afternoon as Army and Tulane meet in West Point. The Black Knights should look to keep the football on the ground and put together lengthy drives that limit the number of possessions for both teams. Tulane will need to find ways to get its offense going, but Army's style of play could make that difficult. The Green Wave should also focus on slowing down the Black Knights' rushing attack and forcing them into uncomfortable situations. Neither team will want to give away short fields or easy points in what could be a closely contested matchup. Expect Army to control much of the tempo and keep the combined scoring under the total.

Final Picks: Army Black Knights -3 (-102) and Under 48.5 (-115)
