USC represents a completely different level of offensive competition, but the Ragin' Cajuns still allowed scoring opportunities throughout the game. If UAB can establish its own offensive rhythm early, this matchup has the potential to remain competitive well into the fourth quarter.

Returning to Lafayette is also important. Louisiana went across the country for its Week 2 game and now gets an opponent making its first road trip.
