His seven touchdown passes tied the Pittsburgh single-game record while setting a new ACC record. Seven different Panthers caught touchdown passes, demonstrating the depth Pittsburgh has in its passing attack.

UCF presents a much tougher defensive test than Miami-OH, but Pittsburgh has the advantage of playing at Acrisure Stadium for the second consecutive week. The Panthers also have enough passing-game firepower to punish UCF if the Knights are forced to abandon their running game and play from behind.

Pittsburgh’s 646-yard opener was equally impressive, yet this is a major increase in competition for both teams. Getting more than a touchdown with UCF makes the Knights the preferred side. The Over 56.5 is my preferred total. Pittsburgh just produced 646 yards behind Heintschel’s seven touchdown passes, while UCF scored 73 points and rushed for 360 yards. Neither offense should approach those Week 1 numbers against much stronger competition, but both demonstrated enough explosiveness to make a game in the upper 20s or 30s realistic. Something around 31-28 or 34-27 gets us there. Take Over 56.5.
