Can UNLV stay undefeated this season?
The UNLV Rebels came into the 2025 season highly overlooked, but with an impressive 2-0 start away from home as well as in conference play, they find themselves sitting firmly atop the Mountain West standings. The success this year for the Rebels should come as no surprise as they average 442 yards of offense per game while ranking top-25 in the nation in QB rating, scoring and yards per play, and while the defense gives up 30 points a night, they've done enough to keep themselves in every game.
Offensively, UNLV has one of the most balanced attacks in college football, with junior quarterback Anthony Colandrea (Virginia transfer) posting a 10/3 TD/INT ratio, and with the run game accounting for 14 scores of their own, this team can get it done in many different ways. Last time out for the Rebels was a high scoring victory over Air Force, with 220 yards on the ground and four scores getting the job done as the defense forced one crucial turnover, winning the game 51-48 with over 1,110 yards of total offense involved. Collandrea threw for 361 yards and a TD, while rushing for 62 yards with two scores.
Can Boise State take one step closer to the top of the Mountain West standings?
The Boise State Broncos started their year on the wrong end of a major upset, but with the team going 4-1 since that point, with the team also undefeated in two games of Mountain West conference play. With 34 points and 465 yards of offense per game, the Broncos are yet another team in the Mountain West that can't be taken lightly, and with a defense that's allowed just 53 points in three home games this season, they've built an incredible home-field advantage that can't be ignored.
While the Broncos offense has seen junior QB Maddux Madsen toss five interceptions, he's also been very dynamic through the air with 11 scores, and with the run game accounting for another 13 Touchdowns, this team is also incredibly well balanced. Last time out for Boise State was a big win over the New Mexico Lobos, with 400 yards of offense leading the way as this defensive unit forced three turnovers, as they came away winners 41-25.

- Boise State -12.5 (4 units)
While the undefeated UNLV Rebels come into this matchup with plenty of success and domination behind them this season, it's hard to ignore the dominant run the Boise State Broncos have had against their conference rivals, going 9-0 in their last nine head-to-head matchups, including 2-0 a season ago.
On top of that, the Broncos are undefeated at home this season, and with the defense playing much better as of late, expect them to pick up a statement win at home on Saturday night.
Over/under pick for UNLV vs. Boise State
- Over 58.5 (4 units)
Obviously, these two teams are among the elite offensive groups in the NCAA this season, averaging 38 and 34 points, respectively, this season, and while they likely won't put up over 70 points, this one could be a shootout.
For the Rebels, the over sits at 3-3 this season, with 110 points scored thus far in their three road games this season, and for the Broncos, the over comes in at 4-2 in 2025, with 40 or more points scored in all three home games thus far.
Keep it simple, take the over.
