The UNLV Rebels (4-0, 0-0 MWC) are looking dominant right now as they are coming off a 41-38 road win over the Miami RedHawks on Sept. 20. Junior quarterback Anthony Colandrea had a good game as he completed 29-of-43 passes for 293 yards with two passing touchdowns and two interceptions as well as 16 rushing attempts for 54 yards (3.4 yards per carry).

The Wyoming Cowboys (2-2, 0-0) are doing a respectable job thus far, but they are on a two-game losing streak as they are coming off a 37-20 road loss against the Colorado Buffaloes on Sept. 20. Sophomore quarterback Kaden Anderson struggled a bit as he completed 11-of-25 passes for 176 yards with a pair of touchdowns.

The offense was able to move the football without issues as they were 12-for-17 on third downs and recorded 30 first downs as a team. They were also able to run the ball at an incredible rate, averaging 5.2 yards per rushing attempt. However, they had two interceptions on the day. The defense was brutal as they gave up 38 points on 396 total yards (265 passing, 131 rushing) in the game. The defense was able to force three turnovers (two interceptions, one fumble) in the game and really shut down drives as they limited the RedHawks to 1-for-9 on third down and 1-for-1 on fourth downs.

Anthony Colandrea is completing 71.6% of his passes for 940 yards with eight TDs and three INTs. He has also rushed for 229 yards (5.1ypc) with one TD.

The Wyoming Cowboys are looking to recover from their last game as they lost on the road against the Colorado Buffaloes 37-20 two weeks ago. The offense finished with 20 points on 347 total yards (182 passing, 165 rushing). The team was able to step up without turning the ball over and moved it well, averaging 7.0 yards per pass and 4.0 yards per carry. That los to the Buffaloes came after a 31-6 defeat at home against Utah. The Cowboys opened the season with wins over FCS Northern Iowa and Akron.

The defense was not good as they held Colorado to 37 points on 497 total yards of offense (304 passing, 193 rushing). The team was unable to get stops on the money downs as the Buffs were to 5-for-10 on third down. The Cowboys forced one fumble and recovered it as well.

The Wyoming Cowboys have been unable to score too many points as they are 126th in the nation with 16.8 points per game. Their defense has been clicking as they are giving up 18.8 points per game, which is 39th in college football.

Quarterback Kaden Anderson is completing 55.1% of his passes for 711 yards with five TDs and two interceptions. He's not a threat to run as he has -44 yards rushing.
