ESPN Analytics essentially views this as a coin flip, but Atlanta holds the better overall record, leads the division, owns the stronger season-series performance and has slight statistical advantages in both offense and pitching. The starting matchup is excellent on both sides, but Atlanta's starter carries the lower ERA and WHIP while allowing fewer walks and home runs. Philadelphia is playing well and gets home field, but the Braves have consistently found ways to win this matchup. Atlanta Moneyline is the side pick.

Pick: Under 7.5

The Under 7.5 is my preferred target total. Both scheduled starters enter with ERAs below 2.55, WHIPs at 1.19 or better and excellent strikeout production. Atlanta owns a 3.58 team ERA, while Philadelphia's staff has generated 1,374 strikeouts.
