Blue Jays Starting Bieber
Toronto enters play on Saturday with a record of 85-62 and is first in the AL East after winning the opening game of the series against the Orioles. The Blue Jays are set to start right-hander Shane Bieber, who's 2-1 with a 4.30 ERA in four starts this season. Last time out, he went 5.2 innings, allowing three runs against the Astros, while in his career against the Orioles, he's 3-1 with a 3.60 ERA. Toronto has a team ERA of 4.17, which ranks 19th.
The Blue Jays' offense has been clicking as Toronto is hitting .269, which is the best batting average in the majors. Toronto is hitting .271 at home, while in September, the team is hitting .278.
