RHP German Marquez is expected to take the mound for the Colorado Rockies. This season, Marquez holds a 3-15 record, logging two of his wins on the road. He's struggled with ball command as he's walked 10 over his last five starts. Marquez has also given up the long ball at a high rate, allowing six home runs over his last five road starts. He'll need to control his pitches here if he wants to give the Rockies bats a chance.

RHP Trevor McDonald is expected to take the mound for the San Francisco Giants. McDonald will be making his 2nd start of the season, and he holds a no-decision record with a 3.38 ERA. McDonald has struck out four batters while issuing two walks. It will be his first home start of the season, but his last night game was forgettable as he finished with a 9.0 ERA, over just two innings.
