The Kansas City Royals took a huge step forward in 2025, and while they didn't quite get the career years this season from some players, they showed that they can consistently compete at the top level despite a 37-42 record away from home. Despite having a superstar like Bobby Witt Jr. leading the way, the Royals rank 26th in baseball in total runs scored, but with a 3.75 team ERA ranking them sixth in the league, they've got some major building blocks in place already.
