Phillies Looking to Get Closer to Clinching NL East

The Philadelphia Phillies are looking to continue stepping up after their 1-0 home win on Monday against the New York Mets to begin their series. The lineup was able to go 7-for-29 with three walks and eight strikeouts in the game. The team was 1-for-4 with runners in scoring position and stranded seven on base. Aaron Nola pitched well in the win as he pitched six shutout innings of work.
