Royals Looking to Get to .500

The Kansas City Royals are coming off a 2-0 road win on Thursday against the Seattle Mariners last time out. The team could not do much offensively as they were able to go 5-for-32 with zero walks and eight strikeouts as a whole. Kansas City was 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position and left six men on base. Tyler Kolek pitched well in a losing effort as he gave up two runs in 7.1 innings of work.

The Royals are going to be sending right-hander Michael Lorenzen to the mound and he is currently 5-11 with a 4.91 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP in 128.1 innings. He has been struggling to limit the amount of hits against him as he has a .277 batting average against.
