Golden State Warriors at Indiana Pacers Picks and Prediction for Saturday, November 1, 2025

By: Robert Antuann Published 11/01/2025, 03:02 AM ET

The Golden State Warriors travel to Indianapolis to face the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday at 7:00 PM ET, on NBA TV. Golden State is 4-2, while Indiana is still seeking its first win of the season at 0-5. The Warriors are coming off a 120-110 loss to Milwaukee, and the Pacers dropped another close one, 107-105, against Dallas. Clean angles only: NBA predictions for Golden State Warriors at Indiana Pacers.

Golden State Warriors Look to Rebound on the Road

The Warriors are 4-2 overall and 1-2 on the road, averaging 119.0 points per game while shooting 47.4% from the field. Stephen Curry continues to lead the team with an average of 27.0 points per game on 49.1% shooting and an incredible 97.0% from the free-throw line. He’s been consistent, but the team’s defensive problems on the road have been costly, allowing 110 or more points in all three away games so far.

In Thursday’s 120-110 loss to Milwaukee, Curry poured in 27 points, Jonathan Kuminga added 24, and Jimmy Butler contributed 23 points with 11 rebounds. Golden State’s offense looked sharp at times, cutting an eight-point deficit down to two late in the fourth before the Bucks closed on an 11-2 run. The Warriors shot 47% overall but struggled to contain Milwaukee’s Ryan Rollins, who scored 32 points and hit five threes. Golden State’s bench added 29 points but couldn’t keep pace with the Bucks’.

The Warriors have now alternated between wins and losses through their first six games, showing signs of strong offense but some inconsistency on defense. The Warriors’ 9.8 steals per game are proof of a strong perimeter defense, yet they’ve allowed late scoring runs in both road defeats. Golden State’s focus will be on getting stops late and improving on the boards, where they average 41.7 rebounds compared to Indiana’s 50.0.

Injuries:

  • Alex Toohey (F) – Out (Nov 1)
  • De’Anthony Melton (G) – Out (Nov 21)

Indiana Pacers Searching for First Win

The Pacers have opened 0-4, including a 0-1 record at home, averaging 113.3 points per game but shooting just 40.4% from the floor. Pascal Siakam has carried the scoring load with an average of 26.3 points per game, though his 44.0% shooting has not been up to par. Indiana has been dominant on the glass, pulling down 50 rebounds per game, but that hasn’t translated into wins due to turnovers and poor perimeter defense.

In Wednesday’s 107-105 road loss to Dallas, Siakam scored 27 points with 13 rebounds, while Jarace Walker had a career-high 20. Indiana shot just 34.9% from the field, but kept it close until the final seconds. The Pacers had a chance to win when Aaron Nesmith grabbed an offensive rebound off a missed free throw, but his desperation three missed at the buzzer. Injuries have decimated the Pacers, with Obi Toppin, Bennedict Mathurin, and Andrew Nembhard all sidelined, forcing reserves, who normally do not see many minutes, into extended roles.

On Friday, they fell to Atlanta 128-108 at home in the NBA Cup to fall to 0-5 on the season. The Pacers shot just 35.4% from the field and 27.7% from long range. Siakam led the Pacers with 18 points, while Jarace Walker added 17.

Despite the winless start, Indiana has shown some fight, pushing Oklahoma City to double overtime earlier in the season and keeping games close despite injuries. The Pacers have struggled defensively in transition, allowing opponents to shoot nearly 50% overall while giving up high assist numbers to opponents. Against Golden State’s quick-paced offense, that could be a key problem area unless offensive rebounding creates second-chance opportunities. Not having point guards Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles-out for season) and Andrew Nembhard has been devastating for the offense.

Injuries:

  • Taelon Peter (G) – Game-time decision (Oct 31)
  • Johnny Furphy (G) – Game-time decision (Oct 31)
  • Andrew Nembhard (G) – Doubtful.
  • Bennedict Mathurin (G) – Out (Nov 5)
  • Obi Toppin (F) – Out (Dec 3)

Golden State Warriors at Indiana Pacers Pick

Spread Pick for Warriors vs. Pacers

  • Golden State Warriors -2 (4 Units)

Golden State’s balanced scoring and experience give it the advantage against a shorthanded Pacers squad still searching for its first win. The Warriors’ offense has topped 119 points per game and should find success against Indiana’s defense, that’s allowed opponents to shoot over 45%. If Curry and Butler maintain their form, Golden State should control the pace and cover a small spread on the road. Indiana’s injuries leave them thin in the backcourt, and that plays directly into Golden State’s up-tempo attack. Expect Curry to exploit mismatches against a team that’s missing key perimeter defenders. With scoring from Kuminga and strong play late in the game, the Warriors will bounce back and beat the Pacers.

Over/Under Pick for Warriors vs. Pacers

  • Over 232.5 (4 Units)

Both teams rank among the higher-scoring offenses early this season, with Golden State averaging 119 points and Indiana at 113.3 despite poor shooting at times. The Warriors’ pace and high numbers of three-point shots create constant scoring pressure, while the Pacers’ rebounding can generate second chances. Even with injuries, Indiana has cleared 105 points in three of four games, suggesting the total finishes high again in a fast-paced matchup. Golden State’s defense has given up 110 or more in each of its last three road games, and Indiana has been forced to play up-tempo to keep up offensively. Expect both teams to trade scoring runs early and maintain that throughout, pushing this total over the posted mark.
