Indiana travels to Memphis on Wednesday to face the Grizzlies at FedExForum. Tipoff is set for 8:00 pm ET on DAZN IND and DAZN MEM. The Pacers (2-6, 12th Eastern Conference) lost 108-104 to Atlanta on Monday and have dropped five straight. Memphis (6-1, 2nd Western Conference) suffered its first defeat Monday, falling 135-134 to New Orleans in overtime. The Grizzlies are 2-1 at home, while Indiana has split its four road games. Check out our free NBA picks for Wednesday.

Indiana Pacers Trying to Stop Five-Game Skid

Indiana came close against Atlanta on Monday but couldn't finish the job, losing 108-104 at home. The Pacers had another difficult night offensively against Brooklyn on Sunday, managing just 90 points in an eight-point defeat. Indiana's losing streak has reached five games, with the team struggling to find the consistency it showed earlier in the season. The Pacers have also had trouble stopping opponents, particularly during their 145-125 loss to Miami last Friday.

Pascal Siakam leads Indiana with 21.4 points and 7.4 rebounds per game among the team's regular contributors. Andrew Nembhard is the assist leader at 7.3, although both players are questionable for Wednesday. The Pacers average 112.9 points while allowing 115.6. They're shooting 46.5% from the field and 34.1% from three-point range. Indiana needs more dependable scoring and better defense, especially against a Memphis team that has been difficult to beat.

Injuries: Pascal Siakam, Aaron Nesmith, Andrew Nembhard, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Larry Nance Jr. are questionable.

Memphis Grizzlies Looking to Bounce Back

Memphis finally tasted defeat Monday, losing 135-134 to New Orleans in overtime. It was a disappointing finish for the Grizzlies, who had won their first six games and looked particularly strong in their previous outing against Sacramento. Memphis scored 136 points in that victory and has been producing plenty of offense throughout the opening weeks. The Grizzlies now get another home game, facing an Indiana team that hasn't won since October.

Ty Jerome leads Memphis with 28.2 points and 5.8 assists per game. Cameron Boozer has supplied the rebounding, averaging 10.5 per contest. The Grizzlies score 121.2 points and give up 110.1, giving them a clear advantage over Indiana in both categories. Memphis is shooting 47.0% from the field and 41.6% from three-point range. That outside shooting has helped the Grizzlies build their strong early record, and Indiana will have to defend the perimeter carefully.

Injuries: Quinten Post and Scotty Pippen Jr. are questionable.

Key To The Game

Indiana's injury report could have a major impact, with Siakam and Nembhard both questionable. The Pacers need their leading scorer and main passer against a Memphis offense averaging more than 121 points. The Grizzlies have also been shooting well from outside, leaving Indiana little room for another poor defensive performance.

Indiana Pacers vs Memphis Grizzlies Game Pick

  • Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis lost a close overtime game Monday, but the Grizzlies have given little reason to doubt their strong start. Their offense has produced plenty of points, and Jerome has been leading the way. Indiana, meanwhile, has dropped five straight and could be missing Siakam or Nembhard on Wednesday. That's a difficult situation against a Memphis team shooting well from the field and from three-point range. The Pacers can keep things competitive if their key players are available, but the Grizzlies have been more reliable at both ends. I'll take Memphis to win at home.

Indiana Pacers vs Memphis Grizzlies Over/Under Pick

  • Over

The Grizzlies just played a 135-134 overtime game against New Orleans, and their shooting has been a major part of their success. Memphis averages 121.2 points and has made 41.6% of its three-point attempts. Indiana can score as well, as it showed with 125 points against Miami, but the Pacers have struggled defensively. Even their latest loss to Atlanta finished with 212 combined points. The question is whether Indiana can contribute enough if Siakam or Nembhard sits out. Memphis should create chances regardless, and I expect the scoring to stay high. Take the over.
