Miami Heat at Memphis Grizzlies Pick

Spread Pick for Heat vs. Grizzlies

  • Memphis Grizzlies -170 (5 units)

There is a reason why, even with a handful of players that would be in the rotation missing this game that the Memphis Grizzlies are still the favorite. Just talking off the court, the Terry Rozier situation could be something that is on the mind of the Miami Heat players and coaching staff, as this just happened on Thursday with his arrest. On the court, Memphis still has a lot of talent and should be able to dominate. These teams played in the final game of the preseason against one another, and the Grizzlies won by 16 points, so even with that being just a preseason game, it still shows momentum. All in all, go with the Memphis Grizzlies to win this game at home.

Over/Under Pick for Heat vs. Grizzlies

  • Under 232.5 (4 units)

These teams are going to have strong defensive players in the frontcourt, with Bam Adebayo and Jaren Jackson Jr. being the centerpieces of that. If Ja Morant is unable to suit up as he is dealing with an ankle injury, Memphis is going to lose a significant scoring threat, and that would make things even more difficult. In the opening game of the season for each team, they did not do too well in terms of grabbing offensive rebounds, as Miami recorded 10 while Memphis had six. Go with under 232.5 total points as the better bet here.
