Bucks Enter on a Back-to-Back
This is Doc Rivers’ third season leading the Milwaukee Bucks, but he hasn’t been able to get the team past the first round of the playoffs. Although it’s worth noting that the Bucks won the NBA Cup in-season tournament last year. As for 2025-26, Milwaukee is off to a solid 5-2 start. They’ve won three of their last four games, taking down the Knicks (121-111), Warriors (120-110), and Pacers (117-115), most recently. A 135-133 loss to the Kings is sprinkled in there as well. Overall, Milwaukee is 5-2 ATS and 5-2 to the over.
The Bucks just beat the Pacers on Monday, meaning Tuesday’s game will be on the second night of a back-to-back. It was none other than Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the way on Monday, posting a double-double with 33 points and 13 rebounds. From the team level, the Bucks held edges in field goal rate (47.7% to 43.3%) and three-point shooting (42.6% to 24.2%), while the Pacers were better in rebounding (45 to 43) and turnovers (11 to 18).
- The Bucks are scoring 123.7 points per game, which is the fifth-most in the NBA.
- They own a field goal rate of 52.5% (first), while cashing 40.6% of their triples (third).
- Milwaukee’s defense is 15th in efficiency, allowing 112.3 points per 100 possessions.

Raptors Win Second Straight Game
The Toronto Raptors haven’t been very competitive recently, as they’ve missed the postseason both years under Coach Darko Rajakovic’s control. They’re off to a pedestrian 3-4 start this season, but they have won two consecutive games against the Cavaliers (112-101) and the Grizzlies (117-104), more recently. The outlook isn’t too optimistic for the Raptors this year, as they’re +135 underdogs to make the playoffs. As for the game-by-game betting numbers, Toronto is 3-4 ATS and 4-3 to the over.
Toronto is coming off of that 117-104 victory over Memphis on Sunday, and they managed to cover the spread as 4.5-point favorites. Statistically, the Raptors were better in field goal percentage (50.6% to 43.7%) and rebounding (49 to 41), while the Grizzlies held edges in three-point shooting (31.4% to 29.7%) and turnovers (11 to 15). Individually, RJ Barrett led the way with 27 points, while Brandon Ingram contributed 26 points.
- Toronto is averaging 119.4 points per game, which is the 10th-most in the Association.
- The Raptors are currently ranked fourth in field goal rate (50.4%) and sixth in three-point shooting (38.8%).
- Defensively, they are 27th in efficiency, conceding 117.8 points per 100 possessions.
Bucks vs. Raptors Pick
Spread Pick for Bucks vs. Raptors
- Milwaukee Bucks +4.5 (-105) (5 units)
I can understand the optimism surrounding the Raptors this season, but I’m not sure that I believe in them enough to lay 4.5 points against an Eastern Conference contender like the Bucks. I’ll take the points with Milwaukee in this one.
The Bucks have been a “covering machine” this year, going 5-2 ATS. And from a gameplay perspective, I love this matchup of Milwaukee’s offense vs. Toronto’s defense. Milwaukee ranks first in field goal rate (52.5%) and third in three-point shooting (40.6%), and they’ll be taking on a Toronto defense that’s allowing 117.8 points per 100 possessions (27th). Milwaukee’s high-powered offense should do enough to keep this game close, if not win outright.
Over/Under Pick for Bucks vs. Raptors
- Over 237.5 (-110) (5 units)
This is a pretty high total, but I still think there’s room to go north. I’ll take the over. Milwaukee’s offense is averaging 123.7 points per game, which is the fifth-most in the Association. Toronto’s ranked 10th in scoring (119.4 PPG). Like the Bucks, the Raptors also ranked sixth or better in both field goal rate and three-point shooting.
Factor in that the Bucks are on the second night of a back-to-back, and their defense could get a little lazy down the stretch. The over is 7-2 in Milwaukee’s last nine games, as well as 8-3 in Toronto’s last 11 outings. The over has cashed at a 75% rate in the last eight meetings between the two teams. Let’s take the over.
