New York Knicks vs Chicago Bulls Picks and Prediction

Pick: New York Knicks -7.5

New York has struggled to find its rhythm early in the season, but Wednesday provides a favorable opportunity for the Knicks to get their offense moving in the right direction following a good showing on Tuesday. Jalen Brunson should have opportunities to attack Chicago's perimeter defense, while Karl-Anthony Towns gives New York another scoring option capable of creating mismatches around the basket. The Knicks must improve their shooting efficiency and avoid extended scoring droughts that have hurt them in recent outings. Chicago has shown the ability to put points on the board, but its defensive inconsistencies could become a problem against a New York team with several proven offensive weapons. Look for the Knicks to put together a more complete offensive performance and pick up a much-needed road victory.

Pick: Over 234.5

Chicago's defensive struggles could lead to plenty of scoring opportunities for New York throughout this matchup. The Bulls have allowed opponents to find success attacking the paint and generating open looks, which should benefit Brunson and Towns. On the other side, New York hasn't been particularly sharp defensively to open the season, leaving Chicago with opportunities to score in transition and attack before the Knicks can establish their half-court defense. Both teams have enough offensive talent to produce consistent scoring stretches, and an increase in possessions could push this matchup toward a higher total. Expect both offenses to have success as the game progresses, with New York doing enough to pull away late.

Final Picks: New York Knicks -7.5 and Over 234.5
