Seven players scored in double figures, led by Anthony Davis with 25 points and 10 rebounds, D'Angelo Russell had 24 points off the bench, and heralded rookie Cooper Flagg became the fifth youngest player to score at least 20 points, as he scored 22 points. Dallas covered as a 1-point underdog after failing to cover the spread in their first two games.
Davis (24.7 ppg 13 rpg) has a double-double in all three games and in the last one shot a scorching 78.6% from the floor. Second leading scorer P.J. Washington is averaging 17.5 ppg but has failed to shoot over 40% from the floor in the last two games. Flagg (16.7 ppg) had totaled 28 points in his first two games before 22 in the last one. Klay Thompson (9.3 ppg) had not shot over 31% from the floor in the first two games before the last game, shooting 57.1% and scoring 10 points.
