Pacers Reeling in November
Injuries have been a major concern for the Indiana Pacers through November, and they come into this matchup with the Raptors with only two wins over their first 15 games. They lost Monday night 122-117 against the Detroit Pistons.
- Pascal Siakam had 24 points, and Jarace Walker added 21. Indiana has been lost without Tyrese Haliburton, the star guard who tore his right Achilles tendon in the Pacers’ Game 7 loss to Oklahoma City in the NBA Finals.
- Detroit outscored Indiana 36-23 in the second quarter for a 71-55 lead. The Pistons shot 58.5% from the field in the half, hitting seven of 14 3-pointers.
- Siakam delivered another strong performance. He went over 20 points for the fifth straight game and logged his first multiple-blocks, multiple-steals game of the season, while leading all Pacers in rebounds along the way. Siakam continues to be one of the lone bright spots for Indiana during a rough start to their season.
- Mathurin missed 11 games due to a toe injury, but he hasn't shown any ill effects of that problem since returning to the court last week. Mathurin has scored at least 20 points in his three games since returning to the hardwood while shooting 47.7% from the floor and 33.3% from three.

Raptors Cruise to Another Win
The Raptors notched their eighth straight win Monday night after they disposed of the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers 110-99.
- Brandon Ingram scored 15 of his season-high 37 points in the third quarter, and Scottie Barnes had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Sandro Mamukelashvili scored 12 points, and Immanuel Quickley had 11 for Toronto, which has won 12 of 13.
- Two of the Raptors' victories in their streak have come against the Cavaliers. Toronto swept the season series for the first time since the 2019-20 season.
- The Raptors played without RJ Barrett, who has a sprained right knee. Barrett left Sunday’s win over Brooklyn in the third quarter after landing awkwardly on a fast-break dunk. Tests did not reveal a serious injury, coach Darko Rajakovic said.
- Ingram made his way past the 30-point mark for the first time this season and finished a few missed free throws away from a 40-point game. The former Most Improved Player took one-third of the Raptors’ field goal attempts, leading to a season-high five triples. He shot efficiently and also did solid work on the glass before the night ended in an eighth-straight win for Toronto, which holds the second spot in the Eastern Conference standings.
Pacers vs. Raptors Game Pick
- Toronto Raptors ATS (4 units)
This matchup features two clubs heading in opposite directions. Indiana is dealing with a steady dose of injuries and is far from the NBA Finals run they made last year. Toronto has won 12 of its last 13 games and notched its eighth straight win the other night. Barnes made a big impact on Monday’s win, finishing as one of four Toronto players to score in double figures, and one of two to collect double-digit rebounds. I like another dominant effort against an Indiana team missing several starters. Indiana has lost 10 of their last 11 games and is impossible to trust. Take Toronto.
OVER/UNDER PICK for Pacers vs. Raptors
- UNDER (5 units)
Toronto and Indiana are nestled in the middle of the pack with respect to pace of play leading into this contest. Although Toronto has been on a rampage lately, they have not utilised the 3-point shot. They attempt the fourth-fewest threes per game, and with guys like Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram dominating the wings, they have a ton of versatility on the defensive end. Indiana is last in field goal percentage, and they will have issues scoring here. Take the under.
