San Antonio Spurs vs Los Angeles Lakers Picks, Prediction, Odds, and Line Movement for Tuesday February 10 2026

Spurs vs Lakers prediction

Spurs vs Lakers picks are on my radar because this is a key scheduling and matchup spot for both teams. San Antonio is playing its best defense of the season and has already beaten Los Angeles twice in a row, while the Lakers are coming in tired on the second night of a back-to-back. That combo makes this game a strong target when I build my NBA picks card.

TLDR - Picks and Prediction

  • Spread Pick: Spurs -8.5
  • Total Pick: Under 229.5
  • Projected Final Score: Spurs 118, Lakers 108

Odds and Line Movement

The market has kept San Antonio in control of the spread range, and the public numbers show strong support behind the Spurs. The total has been nudged upward from the opening number, but the bigger trend in this matchup points to defense and a slower, more controlled game script.

Spurs vs Lakers Game Preview and Analysis

This is the fourth meeting of the season between these teams, and the recent results matter. Los Angeles won the first matchup, but San Antonio has won the last two. The most recent meeting was a 107-91 Spurs win on January 7.

Keldon Johnson was the swing piece in that game, scoring 27 points on 11-of-13 shooting off the bench. That kind of bench scoring is important in this matchup because it helps San Antonio build separation when the starters sit.

That January 7 game also came without LeBron James and Austin Reaves for the Lakers. This time, the bigger storyline is fatigue. The Lakers are on the second leg of a back-to-back after losing 119-110 at home to Oklahoma City on Monday.

That game was tight for three quarters. It was a two-point game entering the fourth quarter, but Oklahoma City locked in defensively and held Los Angeles to 19 points in the final frame. LeBron still produced with 22 points and 10 assists, but that is a lot to ask again on no rest.

Luka Doncic did not play on Monday and he is questionable here because of a hamstring issue. I am watching that status closely because it impacts both the spread and the total. If he sits again, it is harder for the Lakers to keep pace when San Antonio turns defense into easy points.

San Antonio comes in hot. The Spurs have won four straight and just swept Dallas in a two-game series. Stephon Castle’s 40 points on 15-of-19 shooting on Saturday shows how high the Spurs’ ceiling is when they are confident.

The angle I trust most is the Spurs’ defense and the under trend. Over the last 15 games, San Antonio is No. 5 in defensive rating. The under is also 21-6 in the Spurs’ last 27 games since returning home from Las Vegas after reaching the NBA Cup final.

That is why I have mild interest in the under even with the total sitting near 229.5. If the Spurs control the pace and the Lakers legs fade late again, the second half can slow down and turn into empty possessions.

On the side, I am comfortable laying the points with San Antonio because the Spurs have been the steadier team, and the Lakers are dealing with a tough schedule spot and a key questionable tag in the backcourt.

SA and LAL Key Injuries and Notes

  • Luka Doncic did not play on Monday for the Lakers and is questionable with a hamstring injury.
  • Lindy Waters III remains out for the Spurs with a knee injury.
  • The Lakers are on the second leg of a back-to-back after playing Oklahoma City on Monday.
  • San Antonio is riding a four-game winning streak.

Final Score Prediction

I expect San Antonio’s defense to travel and to show up again, especially late. The Lakers just got clamped in the fourth quarter on Monday, and this is another tough spot against a Spurs team that is locked in on that end.

  • Projected Final Score: Spurs 118, Lakers 108

ATS and Total Picks

  • ATS Pick: Spurs -8.5
  • Total Pick: Under 229.5
