San Antonio Spurs vs Sacramento Kings Picks and Prediction for Friday November 6 2026

By: Kim Smith Published 11/06/2026, 12:40 AM ET

San Antonio heads to Sacramento on Friday night for a 10 PM ET game against the Kings at Golden 1 Center. The Spurs already beat Sacramento 130-103 on October 27, and the Kings haven’t done much since then to make me think the rematch will be different. San Antonio is playing good basketball, Sacramento is struggling, and the Kings are dealing with some injuries. The betting line wasn’t available from a verified sportsbook when I checked, but the Spurs are clearly the stronger team in this matchup. Get in on the action with our free NBA picks.

San Antonio Spurs Have Been Taking Care of Business

San Antonio is 6-2 after beating Dallas 112-111 on Wednesday. That was a close one, and the Spurs had to work for it. Before that, they beat Utah 119-97 and Minnesota 121-111. That’s three straight wins, and San Antonio has been finding different ways to get the job done. Sometimes it’s offense, sometimes it’s defense, and sometimes it’s just making the important play late.

The Spurs are averaging around 118 points while allowing about 108. That’s a healthy difference. They’re grabbing nearly 47 rebounds a game and averaging more than 27 assists. Those numbers tell me San Antonio is getting good shots and doing a decent job controlling the glass. Sacramento has been giving up more than 124 points a night, so this looks like a pretty favorable matchup for the Spurs.

San Antonio’s biggest advantage is its ability to score inside and make opponents defend through multiple possessions. The Spurs have enough playmaking to keep the ball moving, and Sacramento has been struggling to stop teams. Tobias Harris is out with a calf strain, while Jayden Quaintance remains unavailable following knee surgery. Those absences affect the rotation, but San Antonio has still been winning without them.

Sacramento Kings Have Been Having a Rough Start

Sacramento is 1-7 after losing 116-103 to the Lakers on Wednesday. The Kings did beat Dallas 115-100 on Monday, but that hasn’t changed the bigger picture. Sacramento has been getting beaten pretty regularly, and some of the losses haven’t been close. San Antonio already handed the Kings a 27-point defeat earlier this season.

The Kings are averaging about 110 points per game while allowing more than 124. That’s a 14-point difference, and it’s difficult to find much to like about those numbers. Sacramento has also been turning the ball over more than 17 times a game. Against a Spurs team that’s been playing good defense, those mistakes could become a serious problem.

The injury situation isn’t helping. Keegan Murray is out with an ankle issue, Maxime Raynaud is dealing with a knee injury, and Ben Simmons remains unavailable following Achilles surgery. Daeqwon Plowden has also been listed out with an illness. That’s a lot of missing depth for a team already having trouble keeping up. Sacramento needs a much better effort than it gave San Antonio in October.

San Antonio Spurs vs Sacramento Kings Picks and Prediction

Moneyline Pick: San Antonio Spurs

I’m taking San Antonio. The Spurs have already beaten Sacramento by 27, they’re scoring more efficiently, and they’re doing a much better job defensively. The Kings are home, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they come out with some energy after getting embarrassed in the first meeting. But San Antonio has been the better team from the opening week, and Sacramento’s injury problems make this even tougher. I trust the Spurs to get the win.

Total Pick: Under 228.5 Points

I’ll take the under 228.5 if that’s the posted number. Sacramento has been struggling offensively, and San Antonio is allowing only about 108 points per game. The Spurs could certainly score 120 against this Kings defense, and that’s the concern. But I don’t think Sacramento contributes enough to make this a high-scoring game. The Kings managed 103 in the first meeting, and I can see them finishing somewhere around that number again. Give me the under.

Final Picks: San Antonio Spurs Moneyline | Under 228.5 Points (if available)
