Can the Cardinals cause a late season upset?
The Arizona Cardinals have some incredible young talents on this current roster, and while they've posted a 2-3 record in their five road games this season, they sit in last place in the NFC West with a dreadful 3-8 record overall through 11 games. With 22.5 points a game, the Cardinals' offense is giving them chances to win every time out, but with the defense giving up 25.7 points a game, they've yet to find that consistency that could lead to them taking a step forward this season.
All indications are that now the team is ready to move on from Kyler Murray, with veteran Jacoby Brissett taking the reigns this season, posting an impressive 11/3 TD/INT ratio in the games he's been given opportunities in. Last time out for the Cardinals was a tight loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, with Brissett throwing for over 300 yards in this one as they came up short 27-24 despite forcing an amazing three turnovers in this one.

Can the Buccaneers turn recent momentum?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were one of the NFL's hottest teams early in the season, but on the back of three straight defeats, they've fallen to 6-5 overall, as they still manage to sit in first place in a very poor NFC North division. Defensively, this is one of the worst teams in the National Football League, allowing 25.8 points a game to this point, but when healthy, they are a juggernaut offensively, averaging 24.5 points a game as they look to turn things around in a hurry.
Recently, Todd Bowles has revealed that Baker Mayfield is trending in the right direction for a return after he posted an 18/5 TD/INT ratio throughout the early part of the season, a performance that had him in MVP conversations around the league. Last time out for the Buccaneers was a tough loss to the Los Angeles Rams, with a total of just 71 passing yards on the day, holding this offense back as their opponents gained well over 330 yards, with the Bucs coming up short 34-7 in this one.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers picks
Moneyline pick for Cardinals vs. Buccaneers
- Tampa Bay -3.5 (5 units)
Neither of these teams comes into this matchup with much momentum behind them, but with the star power and talent that the Buccaneers possess, it's easy to see why they are favored slightly in this NFC showdown.
On top of that, the Cardinals have lost their last two head-to-head encounters with Tampa Bay, and if Baker Mayfield is ready to go for this one, expect a desperate Buccaneers team to come away with the victory in this matchup.
Over/under pick for Cardinals vs. Buccaneers
- Over 42.5 (4 units)
These two teams may not have much consistency as of late, but one thing they do have in common is a fantastic offense that's supported by a struggling defense, and that should lead to plenty of points in this matchup.
For the Cardinals, the over sits at 7-3 in their last 10 overall games, with 20 or more points scored in all but one of those games, and for the Buccaneers, the over comes in at 6-4 in their past 10, with an average of 35 points allowed during their three-game losing skid.
Keep it simple, take the over.
