Baltimore Ravens vs Buffalo Bills Picks and Prediction for Sunday November 1 2026
Buffalo is scoring almost 33 points a game. Baltimore just got beaten 35-13 by Cincinnati.
And the Ravens are supposed to go into Buffalo and fix everything because Lamar Jackson is coming back?
I don’t think it works quite that easily.
Jackson is a terrific quarterback, and Baltimore is a much more dangerous team with him. But he’s missed three games with an ankle injury, and his first game back is against Josh Allen, in Buffalo, with the Bills coming off a bye. That’s a tough assignment.
Baltimore visits Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, on Sunday at 1 PM ET on CBS. Buffalo is favored by 3.5 points, with the total at 54.5. The forecast is unusually pleasant for November in western New York: around 65 degrees, winds near 7 mph with gusts around 14, and little to no rain expected. Weather shouldn’t interfere with either offense. The NFL season is just starting to warm up, make sure you are ready for all the games with our free NFL picks.
Baltimore Ravens Need Jackson to Look Like Himself
Baltimore is 4-3 and has lost two straight. The Ravens lost 13-10 to Cleveland, then got hammered 35-13 by Cincinnati last Sunday. Those aren’t results that make me excited about backing them on the road. The offense has been missing something, and it’s pretty obvious what that something is.
The Ravens average 24.1 points and roughly 366 yards per game. They’re still running for about 142 yards a night, which is good. Defensively, Baltimore is allowing 23.9 points and fewer than 100 rushing yards per game. That’s a solid run defense, and it should make Buffalo work for its yards. But the Ravens haven’t been creating enough pressure consistently, recording 16 sacks through seven games. Give Allen time to move around and find somebody, and he’s going to make you pay.
Jackson has thrown for 967 yards with six touchdowns and one interception in his limited action. Derrick Henry has rushed for 579 yards and seven touchdowns, while Zay Flowers has 608 receiving yards and three scores. Those are dangerous players, and Buffalo’s defense has been giving up plenty of yards. The injury problem is on Baltimore’s offensive line, where Olaivavega Ioane is out. Safety Jaylinn Hawkins is also unavailable. Jackson has practiced fully, but I still want to see how that ankle holds up once defenders start chasing him.
Buffalo Bills Have Been Scoring on Everybody
Buffalo is 5-1 and coming off its bye week. The Bills have had extra time to prepare for Baltimore, and that’s a big advantage in a matchup where the opposing quarterback is returning from injury. Buffalo has also won 11 straight games immediately following a bye. That’s an impressive streak, but the offense is the bigger reason I’m taking the Bills.
Buffalo averages 32.8 points, the best mark in the NFL, and nearly 388 yards per game. The Bills are rushing for about 149 yards a night, so this isn’t just Allen throwing the football all over the field. The defense is another story. Buffalo is allowing 28.5 points and nearly 400 yards per game. That’s ugly for a team with only one loss. If Baltimore’s offense gets rolling, this could turn into a shootout pretty quickly.
Allen has thrown for 1,504 yards and nine touchdowns, and he’s added eight rushing touchdowns. That’s the kind of production that makes defensive coordinators miserable. James Cook has rushed for 627 yards and six scores, giving Buffalo a real running threat beyond its quarterback. Greg Rousseau has six sacks. The Bills do have injury concerns: Tyrell Shavers is out, while Dalton Kincaid, DJ Moore and right tackle Spencer Brown are questionable. Those are important players, and their availability could change how Buffalo attacks.
Baltimore Ravens vs Buffalo Bills Picks and Prediction
Buffalo Bills -3.5
I’m taking Buffalo minus 3.5. Baltimore can absolutely win if Jackson comes back healthy and starts making plays with his legs. Buffalo’s defense has been giving up enough yards to make that possible. But I don’t like asking Jackson to return from a three-game absence and immediately outscore Allen on the road. Buffalo has the league’s highest-scoring offense, a strong running game and extra preparation time. I think the Bills make enough plays in the second half to win by at least a touchdown.
Over 54.5 Points
I’ll take Over 54.5. Buffalo scores nearly 33 a game and allows 28.5. Those numbers practically invite you to look at the Over. Baltimore’s offense should improve with Jackson back, and the Ravens have Henry to keep the chains moving. The concern is Jackson being rusty and Baltimore failing to finish drives, like it did against Cleveland. But Buffalo can score 30 or more without much help. I think Baltimore gets into the mid-20s. Something like Buffalo 34-27 makes sense to me.
