Ravens vs Steelers picks headline a true winner-take-all showdown, and this game immediately jumped off the board as I worked through this week’s NFL picks. With the AFC North title and a home playoff game on the line, this matchup demands a deeper look at situational performance, health, and recent execution.

TLDR - Picks and Prediction

  • Spread Pick: Ravens -3.5
  • Total Pick: Under 41
  • Projected Final Score: Ravens 20, Steelers 16

  • The winner clinches the AFC North and the No. 4 seed, while the loser is eliminated.
  • Pittsburgh has lost five straight games outright when facing opponents eight or more games under .500 over the last five seasons.
  • The Steelers are 0-4-1 straight up in those five spots, including last week’s loss to Cleveland.
  • Pittsburgh has played 12 consecutive weeks since its early Week 5 bye.
  • Baltimore covered in the first meeting when DK Metcalf posted seven catches for 148 yards.

Team vs Team Game Preview and Analysis: Ravens vs Steelers

This is as high leverage as it gets. The winner takes the AFC North and hosts a playoff game, while the loser sees its season end. Situationally, this spot has been brutal for Pittsburgh in recent years, and last week’s performance against Cleveland only reinforced those concerns.

The Steelers had every advantage imaginable against the Browns and still lost 13-6. Pittsburgh finished plus-two in turnover margin but went just 3-for-15 on third down and never reached the end zone. That game extended a troubling trend under Mike Tomlin, where the Steelers repeatedly fail to capitalize in advantageous spots.

Fatigue is also a factor. Pittsburgh has played 12 straight weeks since its early bye, and the physical toll has shown up late in games. Losing tight end Darnell Washington further compresses an offense that already struggled to generate explosive plays.

Baltimore enters with its own question mark at quarterback, as Lamar Jackson continues to manage a back injury. Even with that uncertainty, I am more comfortable with the Ravens’ structure and game plan. The first meeting showed how much DK Metcalf changes the Steelers’ offense. With Metcalf unavailable, Aaron Rodgers managed just 4.3 yards per pass attempt last week, throwing primarily to aging receivers.

Without a vertical threat, Baltimore can replicate the blueprint Cleveland used: sit on short routes, win on early downs, and force Pittsburgh into long third downs.

Key Injuries and Notes BAL and PIT

  • BAL: Lamar Jackson is questionable as he recovers from a back injury.
  • PIT: DK Metcalf is unavailable, eliminating the primary deep threat.
  • PIT: Darnell Washington broke his arm last week and is out.

Final Score Prediction

I expect a tense, defense-heavy game where Baltimore’s steadier offensive structure proves decisive.

Final Score: Ravens 20, Steelers 16

ATS and Total Picks

  • Against the Spread: Ravens -3.5
  • Total: Under 41
