When it comes to pro football picks, our NFL Predictions are stellar.
Bills Coming off Bye Week
Buffalo entered the bye week off back-to-back upset losses to the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons. In the 24-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, Josh Allen threw for 180 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, while James Cook led the rushing attack for 87 yards. The Bills' defense, meanwhile, struggled to defend Bijan Robinson who rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown.
The Bills are averaging 27.83 points per game, while averaging 238.16 passing yards per game and 151 rushing yards per game. Defensively, Buffalo has struggled as the Bills are allowing 22.83 points per game and 156.33 rushing yards per game.
Buffalo gets defensive line help as DE Michael Hoecht and DT Larry Ogunjobi are expected to be back from their six-game suspension. The Bills will be without Max Hairston, TJ Sanders, DeWayne Carter, and Dorian Strong.

Panthers Starting Andy Dalton
Carolina is coming off a 13-6 win over the Jets to win their third-straight game. However, quarterback Bryce Young suffered an ankle injury in the win, and veteran Andy Dalton will start against the Bills. In the win over the Jets, Young threw for 138 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game with an injury. Dalton, meanwhile, went 4-for-7 for 60 yards.
The Panthers, meanwhile, are averaging 20.7 points per game, while Carolina is averaging 140.1 rushing yards per game. Carolina is allowing 21.7 points per game, while allowing 213 passing yards per game and 92.5 rushing yards per game.
Carolina will be without Young, David Moore, Jonathan Brooks, and Patrick Jones II.
Bills vs. Panthers Pick
Spread pick for Bills vs. Panthers
- Bills -7 -112 (4 units)
The Bills entered the bye on a two-game losing streak and should come out firing here. Sean McDermott has never lost a game as the Bills' head coach after a bye, as he gets the team well-prepared. Meanwhile, Carolina's offense will struggle to pass the ball with Dalton at the helm, who doesn't move as well as the more mobile Young, as the Bills' defense should be much better with Hoecht and Ogunjobi back to get after the quarterback. Expect the Bills' offense to have an outburst en route to a lopsided win.
Over/Under pick for Bills vs. Panthers
Under 46.5 -112 (4 units)
The under is a good spot here, as Carolina's offense will struggle to score with Dalton at the helm, as we saw in the second half when he replaced Young. The Bills' defense should also be much better now that players are getting healthier and Hoecht and Ogunjobi are back. Both teams will be run-heavy - especially Carolina - which will allow the clock to keep running and the under to cash.
