Bears Looking to Turn the Corner
The Chicago Bears are looking to turn the corner after a rough start to the season. However, last week they appeared to have turned the corner as the offense looked strong. The offense has looked incredibly strong as quarterback Caleb Williams has been putting on a show, going 59-of-93 (63.4%) for 715 yards with seven touchdowns and one interception. He was just named NFC Offensive Player of the Week after tossing for 298 yards, four TDs and no picks in their victory over Dallas.
The offense has been going through wide receiver Rome Odunze, who has 16 receptions on 27 targets for 227 yards (14.2 yards per catch) and four touchdown receptions in the first quarter of the season. The running game hasn't been as effective with D'Andre Swift leading the Bears with 149 yards and a TD, but is averaging just 3.5 yards per carry.
On the defensive side of the field, the team has struggled as they are giving up 31.0 points per game thus far. They are struggling to get to the quarterback with five sacks while also forcing turnovers with four interceptions and a fumble recovery.

Raiders Looking to Get to .500
The Las Vegas Raiders saw a lot of changes to the franchise heading into the season, but are looking to get the fruits of their labor. Quarterback Geno Smith is finding his footing under center as he is completing 67-of-106 (63.2%) of his passes for 831 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions.
The running game has not been as solid of an option either as the lead back in rookie Ashton Jeanty has 47 rushes for 144 yards (3.1 yards per attempt) with a rushing touchdown as well as five receptions on six targets for three yards (0.6 yards per catch). The offensive line has not given Jeanty any holes to run through as he's been routinely hit at the line of scrimmage or behind the line.
Las Vegas’s defense has done a good job, especially considering the teams they have gone up against as they are giving up 24.7 points per game. The Raiders have tallied seven sacks and one interception and a pair of fumble recoveries thus far. They allow 351 yards per game (22nd), 237 passing yards (23rd) and 114 rushing yards (17th).

- Tight end Michael Mayer: Concussion (Questionable)

Chicago Bears vs. Las Vegas Raiders Pick
Spread Pick for Bears vs. Raiders
- Chicago Bears -110 (4 units)
It looked like Caleb Williams found something last week against the Dallas Cowboys and the Las Vegas Raiders are not stepping up defensively as much as you’d expect a Pete Carroll team to do thus far. Running back Ashton Jeanty has more yards after contact than actual rushing yards, so the threat of the Raiders running the football to open up the offense is not necessarily there. Caleb Williams is not going to put the ball in harm’s way often, so go with the Chicago Bears to win on the road here.
Over/Under Pick for Bears vs. Raiders
- Over 47.5 (5 units)
Two teams with offensive players littered on the field that should be factors, while the defenses are not really looking too hot early on, means points will be scored. Neither defense has been getting into the backfield to record sacks often as the Bears have five while the Raiders have seven through three weeks of action. Add on to that, as both secondaries are entering this game banged up, 47.5 points does not seem too far-fetched.
