Cleveland finding ways to win

Over the past 18 years, the Cleveland Browns have endured 16 losing seasons and not much was expected in 2026. The Browns (4-2) traded Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams and opened the season with a 24-point loss at Jacksonville. On Sunday, Cleveland moved into a three-way tie for first place in the AFC North Division with a 13-10 home victory versus Baltimore.

The Browns rank fourth worst in the NFL in total offense (267.5 ypg) and are scoring an anemic 17.7 points per game. Rookie WR Denzel Watson leads the team with 345 receiving yards and three scores. Cleveland is a middle of the pack defensive unit (317.5 ypg) and are allowing 20.3 points per contest.

Tennessee in search of some offense

Since winning the AFC South Division in 2021, the Tennessee Titans have dropped 54 of their next 74 games. The Titans (1-5) scored a total of 58 in a season-opening five game losing streak and are stuck in the division basement. Last week, Tennessee rallied for 20 points in the final quarter to steal a 26-20 road victory against Indianapolis. 

Tennessee tied the score two minutes into the fourth quarter on an eight-yard touchdown pass from Cam Ward to Carnell Tate. The Titans took the lead a few minutes later on a blocked punt that was returned for 14 yards for a touchdown by Oluwafemi Oladejo. Tony Pollard contributed 76 rushing yards on 19 carries. 

The Titans rank last in total offense (236.3 ypg) and are averaging a league low 14 points per game. Through six games, former number one overall draft pick Cam Ward has thrown four touchdowns and four interceptions. Tennessee is feisty on defense (343 ypg) and is giving up a respectable 21.5 points per contest.

The Titans are 12-28 ATS in their last 40 games and should be avoided at all costs. Take the Browns to win on the road.
