Sunday afternoon on the NFL gridiron, and we have a Dallas Cowboys vs Carolina Panthers Prediction ready to rock and roll. The Dallas Cowboys come in off a very solid 37-22 road win over the Jets to improve to 2-2-1 on the year. Carolina enters off a 27-24 home win over the Dolphins, which now puts them at 2-3 on the year. Dallas has won the last three in this series, including the last two here in Carolina. Can they keep that streak alive? Read on to see our Cowboys vs Panthers prediction.

When it comes to pro football picks, our NFL Predictions are stellar.

Cowboys Ground The Jets

Dallas enters Week 6 fresh off a 37–22 win over the Jets, where Dak Prescott threw four touchdowns and Javonte Williams ran for 135 yards. The Cowboys rank first in total offense (406.6 yards/game), third in passing (271.2 yards/game), and seventh in rushing (135.4 yards/game), with Williams now third in the NFL in rushing yards. George Pickens leads the receiving corps with 357 yards and five touchdowns, while Jake Ferguson has 41 catches—tied for the most by a tight end through five games in the Super Bowl era. Dallas averages 30.2 points per game, fourth-best in the league.

Defensively, however, the Cowboys have struggled. They rank last in total defense (412.0 yards/game), 32nd against the pass (304.4 yards/game), and 29th in scoring defense (30.8 points/game). The run defense has been slightly better, allowing 127.4 yards per game, but the unit has surrendered 12 touchdowns and ranks 31st in red zone efficiency. James Houston leads the team with 3.5 sacks, and Donovan Wilson has the lone interception. Dallas traded Micah Parsons to Green Bay and added DT Kenny Clark to shore up the interior, but the results have been mixed.

Dallas is a 3.5-point road favorite and has won 12 of 15 regular-season meetings against Carolina, including the last two. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer will look to exploit Carolina’s low pressure rate with Prescott’s quick reads and Williams’ zone bursts. If the offensive line holds up and the defense can contain Rico Dowdle, Dallas has the firepower to cover and climb above .500 in the NFC East. With Washington and Denver up next, this is a key momentum game for a team still searching for defensive identity.

Carolina Surprises Miami At Home

Carolina enters Week 6 off a dramatic 27–24 comeback win over Miami, rallying from a 17–0 deficit behind Bryce Young’s two-touchdown performance and Rico Dowdle’s 206-yard rushing explosion. Dowdle, a former Cowboy, now leads the Panthers with 289 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while Tetairoa McMillan has 351 receiving yards on 24 catches. The Panthers rank 12th in total offense (315.0 yards/game), 10th in passing (201.8 yards/game), and 14th in rushing (128.0 yards/game), averaging 20.4 points per game.

Defensively, Carolina has been inconsistent. They rank 32nd in total defense (346.0 yards/game), 32nd against the pass (248.0 yards/game), and 29th in scoring defense (23.8 points/game). The unit has allowed 11 touchdowns and forced just four turnovers, with Mike Jackson and Jaycee Horn each recording one interception. The Panthers rank 21st in red zone defense and 20th in third-down stops, but they’ve been better at home—covering in four of their last five games in Charlotte.

Carolina is a 3.5-point home underdog and will look to capitalize on Dallas’ defensive vulnerabilities. Head coach Dave Canales will lean on Dowdle’s revenge-game energy and Young’s mobility to challenge a Cowboys unit that’s allowed 30+ points in four of five games. If the Panthers can protect Young and limit turnovers, they have the offensive balance to keep pace. With the Jets and Bills ahead, this is a pivotal swing game for Carolina’s playoff hopes and divisional standing.

Dallas Cowboys vs Carolina Panthers Pick

Cowboys vs Panthers Spread Pick

  • Dallas -3 (5 Units)

Dallas -3 is a strong play in a matchup where the Cowboys’ explosive offense should overwhelm a Panthers defense that ranks near the bottom of the league in nearly every category. Dak Prescott is coming off a four-touchdown performance, and with George Pickens and Jake Ferguson thriving in the passing game, Dallas has the firepower to exploit Carolina’s 32nd-ranked pass defense. The Cowboys are averaging over 30 points per game and lead the NFL in total offense, while Carolina has allowed 23.8 points per game and has forced just four turnovers all season.

Trends also favor the Cowboys: they’re 8–3 against the spread in their last 11 games versus NFC South opponents, while the Panthers are just 2–8 ATS in their last 10 against the NFC East. Carolina’s emotional comeback win over Miami was impressive, but it came against a defense far less aggressive than Dallas’s. With Javonte Williams running downhill and the Cowboys’ offensive line controlling the trenches, Dallas is built to cover this short number on the road—especially if they jump out early and force Bryce Young into a one-dimensional game script.

Cowboys vs Panthers Over/Under Pick

  • Over 49 (4 Units)

Over 49 is a strong lean in a matchup featuring two explosive offenses and two bottom-tier defenses. Dallas ranks first in total offense and fourth in scoring, while Carolina has found rhythm behind Bryce Young and Rico Dowdle, averaging over 20 points per game. Both defenses rank bottom five in pass coverage and red zone efficiency, and both teams have allowed 11+ touchdowns through five games. With playmakers on both sides and a fast-track surface in Charlotte, this game profiles as a shootout—and the Over is 5–1 in Carolina’s second of back-to-back home games, reinforcing the setup.
