The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles are both coming off losses heading into Monday night's NFC East matchup. They'll play at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, with kickoff at 8:15 pm ET on ESPN, ABC and Disney+. Dallas fell to 2-4 after Green Bay beat the Cowboys 23-13 on Sunday. That was their second loss in a row, leaving them third in the division. Philadelphia also stands at 2-4 but holds second place in the NFC East. The Eagles haven't won in four games, with their latest defeat coming against Carolina, 25-14. Build your bankroll with our free NFL picks.

Dallas Cowboys Need Their Offense Back

For three games, Dallas had little trouble getting points on the board. The Cowboys beat Washington 37-20, lost 34-31 to Baltimore and then came away with a 34-30 victory in Houston. But the scoring has dried up over the past two weeks. Tampa Bay held Dallas to 16 points, followed by Green Bay allowing only 13. The Cowboys have also had problems stopping opponents, particularly on running plays. Teams have rushed for 899 yards against Dallas through six games. That's an average of nearly 150 yards each week, putting additional pressure on the offense.

Dak Prescott has played every game so far, throwing 246 passes and completing 163. He's gained 1,639 yards through the air, with 10 touchdown passes against five interceptions. CeeDee Lamb has been his main target, getting 69 looks from Prescott and bringing in 48 passes. Lamb has picked up 577 receiving yards and scored four times. George Pickens has 428 yards, giving Dallas another target downfield. Javonte Williams has rushed for 317 yards, but his seven touchdowns have made him valuable near the goal line. Caleb Downs has 43 tackles, while Quinnen Williams has recorded two sacks. The Cowboys have weapons on offense.

Injuries: KaVontae Turpin and Dee Winters are questionable. Emari Demercado, Drew Shelton and DeMarvion Overshown are inactive.

Philadelphia Eagles Can't Get Going

Philadelphia has gone more than a month without a win. The Eagles last beat Tennessee 24-20 on September 20, then dropped four consecutive games. Chicago held them to seven points, and Carolina gave up just 14 last Sunday. Between those losses, Philadelphia fell 24-20 to the Rams and 19-17 to Jacksonville. The Eagles have managed only 17.7 points per game. They're averaging 255.5 yards, with just 82.2 coming on the ground. It's been difficult for Philadelphia to sustain drives.

Quarterback has become a major concern. Jalen Hurts is on injured reserve after throwing eight touchdowns and three interceptions in five games. Tanner McKee completed 26 of 45 throws for 215 yards and a touchdown in his appearance. Saquon Barkley is also out. DeVonta Smith has 310 receiving yards in four games, while Dontayvion Wicks has 284. Darius Cooper has caught four touchdown passes. Philadelphia needs help from its defense, where Jihaad Campbell has 47 tackles and Jalen Carter has three sacks.

Injuries: Jalen Hurts is on injured reserve, and Saquon Barkley is out. Nolan Smith Jr. and Carson Steele are questionable. AJ Epenesa, Hollywood Brown and Joe Milton are inactive.

Key To The Game

Philadelphia is missing Hurts and Barkley, leaving Dallas with an opportunity to control the game. The Cowboys need to get Lamb involved early and avoid the slow offensive starts that hurt them in their last two losses.

Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles Pick

  • Dallas Cowboys -4.5

The Cowboys have scored only 29 points across their last two games, but Philadelphia has even bigger problems moving the ball. Hurts and Barkley are unavailable, and the Eagles average just 17.7 points. Prescott has two proven receiving options in Lamb and Pickens, while Philadelphia gives up 27.3 points per game. Dallas has the stronger offensive lineup for this matchup and will cover the 4.5-point spread on Monday night in Philadelphia.

Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles Over/Under Pick

  • Under 44.5

Neither offense has been producing much lately. Dallas scored 16 against Tampa Bay and 13 against Green Bay, while Philadelphia managed only 14 against Carolina and seven against Chicago. Hurts and Barkley being out puts even more pressure on the Eagles to find points. Dallas can win without turning this into a shootout, especially if Philadelphia continues struggling on the ground. The game will finish under 44.5 points on Monday night.
