Lions Looking to Continue Figuring Things Out
The Detroit Lions are coming off a solid 44-22 road win in Week 10 against the Washington Commanders, who were playing without QB Jayden Daniels. Quarterback Jared Goff played well in the game as he completed 25-of-33 passes for 320 yards with three passing touchdowns. The team scored 44 points on 546 total yards (320 passing, 226 rushing). The team was able to sustain drives as they tallied 30 total first downs, did not get sacked, and did not commit a turnover.
The Lions allowed the Washington Commanders to record 22 points on 288 total yards (195 passing, 93 rushing). The defense limited them as they held Minnesota to 14 total first downs and 2-for-10 on third downs in the game. Detroit held Washington to 3.4 yards per rushing attempt as they look to continue improving on that front.
The Detroit Lions have been an incredible offensive team as they rank second in the NFL with 31.4 points per game. They have been getting great performances out of quarterback Jared Goff as he has completed 202-of-273 (74.0%) of his passes for 2,235 yards with 20 passing touchdowns to three interceptions. Eagles Looking to Figure Out Offensive Issues
The Philadelphia Eagles won on the road 10-7 in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers on Monday. The offense was limited to 10 points on 294 total yards (183 passing, 111 rushing) in the game. Quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 15-of-26 passes for 183 yards with a passing touchdown. The team was able to keep the chains moving on the money down as they were 7-for-16 on third downs. However, the team was 0-for-1 in the red zone and lost a fumble.
The defense of the Eagles allowed seven points on 261 total yards (157 passing, 104 rushing). They held Green Bay to 5-for-13 on third downs and only allowed 4.0 yards per pass attempt. Their defense was also able to force a pair of fumbles in order to win the turnover battle.
The Eagles are putting up 24.2 points per game this season, which places them 12th in the sport. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been playing well thus far as he has completed 166-of-241 (68.9%) of his passes for 1,860 yards with 16 passing touchdowns and one interception while also running 63 times for 234 yards (3.7 yards per carry) with five rushing touchdowns. He manages the offense about as well as any quarterback in the league, but that doesn't make star receivers like A.J. Brown very happy. The defense is 22nd in the NFL with 26.2 points allowed per game. They were great on Monday night and mediocre statistically, allowing 116 rushing yards (19th) and 209.3 passing yards.

Detroit Lions at Philadelphia Eagles Pick
Spread Pick for Lions vs. Eagles
- Detroit Lions +120 (5 units)
The Lions looked like they were stepping up after allowing coach Dan Campbell to call the plays on the offensive side of the football last week. The Eagles are still looking to figure out their offensive production, especially getting wide receiver AJ Brown in the flow of the offense. Detroit’s defensive line should be able to take advantage of an injured Philadelphia offensive line as well. Philly’s offense has scored fewer than 20 points in three of their previous five games, so they are not going ot be able to score too much to keep up with Detroit’s offense. All in all, go with the Detroit Lions to record the victory.
Over/Under Pick for Lions vs. Eagles
- OVER 46.5 (4 units)
These teams have a lot of talent on the offensive side of the football and should be able to put up points despite Philly's woeful production on Monday night. The Lions looked like they found something last week, scoring 44 points, while the Eagles struggled last week, but scored 66 points in their two games before that. Jared Goff and Jalen Hurts have not turned the ball over much, so they are going to sustain drives, and the defenses have been dealing with some key injuries entering the game. Go with OVER 46.5 POINTS in this game as the better bet.
