Can the Rams keep up in the NFC West?

The Los Angeles Rams are one of the most balanced and well-coached teams in the entire NFL, and with a 2-1 record away from home this season, they find themselves in a three-way tie atop the NFC West. Offensively, the Rams rank top-five in the NFL in total yards, yards per play, passing yards, and QB rating, all while averaging 24 points a night, and with the defense ranking third in the league in points allowed at 18, it's easy to see why their hopes are so high this season.

Once again, it's veteran Matthew Stafford leading the way for Los Angeles, posting a 12/2 TD/INT ratio as he once again shows why he's a top quarterback in the league, but with Puka Nacua not practicing on Thursday, he may be without his top target in this one. They may have to rely more on running back Kyren Williams, who has 418 yards and two TDs this season. Davante Adams will be a huge part of the offense as well. He has 26 catches for 396 yards with three TDs (15.2ypc). Last time out for the Rams was a dominant win over the Baltimore Ravens, with the defense holding their opponents to just three points despite giving up 296 yards and being out-gained on the day, with one passing and one rushing TD enough to get the job done as they came away winners 17-3.

The Rams are allowing just 199 yards passing per game (9th) and 107.8 rushing yards (15th). On offense, they rank third with 269.2 passing yards per game and 23rd in rushing yards per game (105.8).

Can the Jaguars keep their surprise start going?

The Jacksonville Jaguars had a solid off-season in 2025, and clearly it's already paying off in a big way, with the team going 3-1 at home to start the season as they're one game back of top spot in the AFC South heading into this blockbuster showdown. This Jaguars team also prides themselves on defense, ranking top-10 in the league with just 20 points allowed per game, but with the offense not yet hitting its stride consistently, they average a total of 23 points of their own.

As for Trevor Lawrence, this season has been a major improvement, but with a TD/INT ratio of just 8/6, there's still plenty of work to do as they look to lean on their ground game for success moving forward. Last time out for the Jaguars was a tough loss to the Seattle Seahawks, with Lawrence throwing for 258 yards and two Touchdowns, but with the team managing just 59 yards on the ground, they fell in a hard-fought battle 20-12.

Travis Etienne has been more than solid on the ground with 470 yards rushing (5.3ypc) and two scores. Lawrence's favorite target is Brian Thomas Jr, who has 24 catches for 334 yards and a TD.

Defensively in this game, the Jags have to worry about their pass defense, which ranks 29th, allowing 256.3 yards per game (29th).

Los Angeles Rams vs. Jacksonville Jaguars picks

Moneyline pick for Rams vs. Jags

  • Jacksonville +3 (4 units)

These two teams haven't met since 2021, and while both come into this matchup with a 4-2 record, the Los Angeles Rams are favored on the back of their more star-studded roster, even if star wide receiver Puka Nacua misses this matchup.

However, the Jacksonville Jaguars have been the most experienced NFL team playing in London thus far, and with a 7-6 record overseas heading into this matchup, expect them to cause a major upset in this blockbuster showdown. The loss of Nacua will slow down the Rams and help the Jags' questionable secondary.

Over/under pick for Rams vs. Jaguars

  • Under 46 (4 units)

Both of these teams have supremely talented quarterbacks, but with the defense ruling the day thus far in 2025 as they allow 18 and 20 points respectively, this one should be a battle based on their defensive groups.

For the Rams, the under sits at 4-2 in six games played this season, with 55 points allowed in three games away from home thus far, and for the Jaguars, the under comes in at 3-3 in 2025, with the team allowing 21 points or less in four of those six games.

Keep it simple, take the under.
