The Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints will meet in Paris on Sunday at Stade de France. Kickoff is at 9:30 am ET on NFL Network. Pittsburgh has won two straight and sits at 4-2, tied for first in the AFC North. The Steelers beat Tampa Bay 26-19 in overtime last Sunday. New Orleans is 2-4 and tied for second in the NFC South after a 34-27 win over the Giants. That victory ended a three-game losing streak for the Saints. Pittsburgh Steelers Have Found Their Offense

The trip to Tampa Bay wasn't easy for Pittsburgh. The Steelers needed overtime to win after putting up 34 points against Indianapolis the week before. They've also beaten Cincinnati 30-27, so close finishes are becoming familiar. The exception was their visit to New England, where Pittsburgh managed just three points. Through six games, the Steelers average 22.8 points and 320.5 yards. On defense, they allow 21.3 points and 307.5 yards. Opponents have averaged only 204.3 passing yards, giving Pittsburgh a chance even when its offense goes quiet.

Jaylen Warren has made a difference running the ball. He's gained 460 yards on 84 carries, an average of 5.5 yards each time, and has another 258 receiving yards. Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 1,487 yards with 12 touchdowns and five interceptions. DK Metcalf leads the receiving group with 318 yards, while Pat Freiermuth has four touchdown catches. On defense, T.J. Watt has 4.5 sacks and Payton Wilson has 55 tackles. The Steelers have been getting help from several places, not just their quarterback.

Injuries: Brandin Echols is questionable. Eli Heidenreich, Drew Allar, Will Howard and Ben Skowronek are inactive.

New Orleans Saints Need More Defensive Stops

New Orleans finally got back in the win column Sunday. The Saints scored 34 points against the Giants, ending a run of three losses. Those defeats weren't all alike. Minnesota held New Orleans to 13 points, while Atlanta scored 45 against the Saints and Las Vegas put up 35. The common problem has been the defense. New Orleans is allowing 29.7 points and 377.7 yards per game, including 138.0 on the ground. That's not encouraging with Warren and the Pittsburgh running game waiting in Paris.

Tyler Shough has been able to move the ball, throwing for 1,443 yards and 12 touchdowns against five interceptions. He's completed 65.1% of his passes. Chris Olave leads the Saints with 43 catches and 580 yards, and Devaughn Vele has added 294 yards. Juwan Johnson has caught three touchdown passes. The running game hasn't matched that production. Kendre Miller has a team-high 153 rushing yards, and New Orleans averages 97.3 per game. Chase Young has 5.5 sacks, but the Saints need more stops than they've been getting.

Injuries: Kool-Aid McKinstry, Quincy Riley and Cesar Ruiz are questionable. Nathan Shepherd and Zach Wilson are inactive.

Key To The Game

New Orleans has struggled against the run, while Warren is averaging 5.5 yards per carry. That gives Pittsburgh a clear way to keep drives moving. The Saints need to slow Warren without giving Rodgers easy opportunities downfield.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs New Orleans Saints Pick

  • Pittsburgh Steelers -2.5

Pittsburgh has won two straight and has the stronger defense heading into Paris. Warren's 5.5 yards per carry stand out against a Saints unit allowing 138.0 rushing yards per game. New Orleans scored 34 against the Giants, but it has given up at least 27 points in three of its last four outings. Rodgers has 12 touchdown passes, and Pittsburgh will use its balanced attack to cover the 2.5-point spread.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs New Orleans Saints Over/Under Pick

  • Over 43.5

New Orleans has allowed 29.7 points per game and gave up 27 to the Giants despite winning. Pittsburgh has reached at least 24 points in four of its last five games, with Rodgers throwing 12 touchdown passes this season. Shough also has 12 passing touchdowns, and Olave gives him a reliable target downfield. Both offenses can move the ball against these defenses. The game will finish over 43.5 points Sunday.
