Seahawks Suffer Tough Loss To The Rams

Seattle dropped to 7-3 after a tough 21-19 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, a game where Sam Darnold threw four interceptions and Jason Myers missed a potential game-winning 61-yard field goal at the buzzer. Despite the turnovers, the Seahawks nearly pulled off a comeback, with Kenneth Walker III scoring late and Jaxon Smith-Njigba continuing his historic season with nine catches for 105 yards. The defeat snapped Seattle’s 10-game road winning streak, but the team still showed resilience against one of the NFC’s top contenders.

Offensively, the Seahawks remain one of the league’s most dangerous units, ranking third in points scored (29.4 per game) and fourth in passing yards (249.4 per game). Darnold has completed over 70% of his passes for 2,541 yards and 17 touchdowns, while Smith-Njigba leads the NFL in receiving yards with 1,146 and has become the first player in league history to record at least 75 receiving yards in each of his first 10 games. Kenneth Walker III adds balance with 606 rushing yards and four touchdowns, while Zach Charbonnet has chipped in six scores of his own. The depth at receiver, including Cooper Kupp and Rashid Shaheed, makes Seattle a nightmare to defend when Darnold protects the football.

Defensively, Seattle has been stout, ranking sixth in points allowed (19.3 per game) and ninth in total yards allowed (301.5). They’ve been particularly strong against the run, holding opponents to just 93.5 yards per game, while the pass rush has generated 32 sacks this season. The secondary, led by young playmakers, has held opponents to just 208 passing yards per game. Against Tennessee, the Seahawks will look to rebound by forcing rookie quarterback Cam Ward into mistakes and controlling the line of scrimmage. If they can limit turnovers and capitalize on their offensive firepower, Seattle has the tools to bounce back quickly.

Long Season Continues For The Titans

The Titans fell to 1-9 after a 16-13 loss to the Houston Texans, a game where they led 6-0 at halftime but couldn’t finish. Rookie quarterback Cam Ward threw for 194 yards and a touchdown to Van Jefferson, but the offense sputtered late, and Houston’s Matthew Wright drilled a game-winning 35-yard field goal as time expired. It marked Tennessee’s fifth straight defeat and extended their home losing streak to nine games, leaving interim coach Mike McCoy searching for answers.

Offensively, Tennessee has struggled all season, ranking last in the NFL in points (14.3 per game) and total yards (242.5). Ward has thrown for 1,954 yards with six touchdowns and six interceptions, but he’s been sacked a league-high 41 times. The ground game has been ineffective, with Tony Pollard averaging just 3.9 yards per carry and scoring two touchdowns, while Tyjae Spears has added 155 yards and one score. Injuries have decimated the receiving corps, with Calvin Ridley having spent time on injured reserve and rookies Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike battling ailments. Ayomanor is questionable for this one, and that means Chig Okonkwo and Ridley are left as the most reliable pass-catchers, though neither has consistently produced enough to lift the offense.

Defensively, the Titans haven’t fared much better, allowing 27.3 points per game and ranking near the bottom against the run at 134.7 yards per contest. They did show signs of life last week, recording four sacks and holding Houston to a season-low in points allowed. Jeffery Simmons remains the anchor up front with 5.5 sacks, and Arden Key adds pressure off the edge, but the secondary has struggled without Xavier Woods. Facing Seattle’s explosive passing attack, Tennessee will need its defensive front to dominate and force turnovers to stay competitive. Otherwise, the Titans risk being overwhelmed by one of the league’s most balanced offenses.

Seattle Seahawks vs Tennessee Titans Pick

Seahawks vs Titans Spread Pick

  • Seattle -13 (3 Units)

Seattle -13 feels justified because this team has consistently shown the ability to respond after setbacks, and Tennessee’s struggles make them a prime opponent for a bounce-back spot. The Seahawks rank top‑five in both scoring offense and total defense, with Sam Darnold completing over 70% of his passes and Jaxon Smith‑Njigba leading the league in receiving yards. Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet provide balance on the ground, while the defense has been stout against the run, holding opponents under 100 rushing yards per game. Tennessee, meanwhile, has been one of the league’s weakest offenses, averaging just 14.3 points per game and ranking dead last in both rushing and total yards. That mismatch in firepower makes Seattle’s double‑digit spread more than reasonable.

The situational trends also line up strongly in Seattle’s favor. Tennessee is 0-10 ATS after facing Jacksonville, a pattern that highlights their inability to rebound in divisional follow‑ups. On the other side, Seattle has thrived under Mike Macdonald, going 9-3-1 ATS in road games during his tenure, and they’ve been dominant against the AFC South with a 5-1-1 ATS mark in their last seven matchups. Those angles reinforce what the stats already suggest: Seattle’s offense and defense are both operating at a level Tennessee simply can’t match. With the Seahawks motivated to erase last week’s heartbreak, laying the 13 points looks like the right call.

Seahawks vs Titans Over/Under Pick

  • Over 40 (1 Unit)

The Over 40 looks like a strong play given both Seattle’s offensive firepower and Tennessee’s tendency to be involved in higher‑scoring games when catching big spreads. The Seahawks average nearly 30 points per game and rank top‑five in passing yards, with Sam Darnold distributing to Jaxon Smith‑Njigba, Cooper Kupp, and Kenneth Walker III. Even when turnovers have been an issue, Seattle still produces explosive plays and forces opponents into shootouts. That lines up with their trend of going 5-1-1 to the Over after playing the Rams, a spot where their offense typically rebounds. On the other side, Tennessee has gone 7-1 to the Over as an underdog of eight or more, reflecting how their defense struggles to contain opponents while their offense finds late points to push totals higher. With Seattle’s pace and Tennessee’s defensive issues, this matchup sets up well to clear the 40-point mark.
