The Texans are returning home after a loss last week to the Rams with a final score of 14-9. This loss would be a rough start to their season as they now sit at the bottom of their division. Houston last season finished first in the AFC South and fourth in the AFC but fell to the Chiefs 23-14 in an AFC divisional game.

The Texans, however, were unable to find much offense generating only nine points in their week one loss. Houston has a lot of talent on their offense but were unable to show much of it last season. Houston ended last season ranking 19th in points and 22nd in total yards. Houston will be aiming to find a good balance on offense as they face a weaker pass defense in the Buccaneers.
Quarterback C.J. Stroud will continue to develop as the starting quarterback for the Texans. He was sacked three times in the opener and pressured nearly half of the drop-backs.
