Tennessee Titans vs Cincinnati Bengals Picks and Prediction for Sunday November 1 2026
Cincinnati is laying 12.5 points. Twelve and a half. That’s a lot of points to give anybody in the NFL.
Then you look at Tennessee.
The Titans are averaging 15.4 points a game. They’ve won once in seven tries. And now they’re going to Cincinnati without two offensive players they could really use.
I don’t love laying almost two touchdowns. But I’m having an even harder time finding a reason to trust Tennessee to stay close.
The Titans visit Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Sunday, November 1, with kickoff at 1 PM ET on CBS. The Bengals are favored by 12.5 points, and the total is 46.5. This is an outdoor game, and the final forecast should be checked before publication. I couldn’t verify dependable game-time temperature, wind, gust or precipitation figures, so I’m not going to make them up, but Cincinnati should be on the cooler side as it is November. Tennessee Titans Haven’t Been Moving the Football
Tennessee is 1-6, and the Titans are last in the NFL in total offense. That’s not some opinion about how they’ve looked on television. They’re averaging 248.6 yards per game. You can’t keep asking your defense to win games when the offense barely moves the ball.
The Titans score 15.4 points per game, 31st in the league. They also hold the ball for only 24 minutes and 41 seconds per game, dead last. That’s a problem against Cincinnati because the Bengals have an offense capable of putting together long scoring drives. Tennessee’s defense has recorded 17 sacks and five interceptions, so it can make some plays. But the Titans are minus-three in turnover differential, and the offense keeps putting the defense in difficult situations.
Cam Ward has thrown for 1,179 yards with four touchdowns and five interceptions. He’s had a rough time, and I don’t think anybody expected the offense to be this limited. Tony Pollard has rushed for 478 yards and four touchdowns, giving Tennessee one dependable way to move the chains. Carnell Tate has 413 receiving yards, but he’s out with a shoulder injury. Tyjae Spears is also out, while Calvin Ridley is questionable with a hip problem. That’s a lot of missing offensive help for a team already struggling to score.
Cincinnati Bengals Have a Big Advantage at Quarterback
Cincinnati is 4-2 and has been scoring 27.2 points per game. That’s fourth in the NFL. The Bengals haven’t been perfect, but they’re playing much better football than Tennessee. They’re also coming into this game with the chance to keep pace in the AFC North, and this is the sort of matchup they can’t afford to waste.
The Bengals average 345.2 yards per game and have recorded 21 defensive sacks, tied for second in the league. That’s where I think Tennessee could have serious problems. Cincinnati can pressure Ward, force hurried throws and give its offense good field position. The Bengals are also plus-three in turnover differential. They don’t need to be spectacular defensively. They just need to make a struggling offense keep struggling.
Joe Burrow has thrown for 1,653 yards with 15 touchdowns and three interceptions. He’s completing 71.7 percent of his passes. That’s the difference between these teams right now. Burrow is playing efficient football, and Tennessee’s quarterback is still trying to find his footing. Tee Higgins has 571 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Chase Brown has rushed for 285 yards. Cincinnati is missing Kyle Dugger with a quadriceps injury, and Joe Giles-Harris is questionable. Those defensive absences matter, but they don’t change the quarterback matchup.
Tennessee Titans vs Cincinnati Bengals Picks and Prediction
Cincinnati Bengals -12.5
I’m taking Cincinnati minus 12.5, and I know I’m laying a big number. Tennessee could keep this close if Pollard gets going and the Titans shorten the game. That’s the danger. But the Bengals have Burrow, a much better passing attack and a defense that’s been getting pressure. Tennessee is last in total offense and has more injuries at the skill positions. I think Cincinnati gets ahead early and forces Ward to throw more than the Titans want. That’s when this could get ugly. Give me the Bengals by two touchdowns.
Under 46.5 Points
I’ll take Under 46.5. Cincinnati might score 30 by itself, but Tennessee has been averaging only 15.4 points. With Tate and Spears out, I don’t see a great reason to expect the Titans to suddenly put up 24. The risk is Cincinnati scoring quickly and Tennessee contributing late points after the game is already decided. That happens. But I think the Bengals can control this without needing a shootout. Something like Cincinnati 30-13 gets us Under.
