Can the Flames end an early season slump?
The Calgary Flames were a huge surprise a season ago, but with a major lack of high-end talent, the team are 1-2-0 on the road thus far in 2025/26, with the team currently sitting 32nd in the overall NHL standings. Unsurprisingly, it's the duo of Jack Eichel (11) and Mark Stone (9) leading the way for the Golden Knights this season, and with breakout star Pavel Dorofeyev having six goals, this team is top-heavy and full of star power.
Vegas will turn to veteran Adin Hill in this matchup, as he comes into this one with a 3.60 GAA and an .845 save percentage, and after departing the team's last game against Calgary, he'll be looking to bounce back in this matchup. Last time out for the Golden Knights was a dramatic win over the Boston Bruins, with three assists to Stone and two goals to William Karlsson leading the way as the team overcame a 19/24 night from Akira Schmid to pick up the very tight 6-5 victory.
