The Blackhawks got out to a 4-0 lead, and although Ottawa did get it to 4-3, Chicago held on for a big win by scoring three unanswered. Winnipeg returns home to kick off a two-game homestand after beating the Wild on the road. The Jets are coming off a 4-3 OT win over Minnesota on Tuesday. Winnipeg led 2-0 after the first period before giving up three straight goals, but the Jets did score to force OT. Winnipeg was led by Gabriel Vilardi, Kyle Connor, Nino Niederreiter, and Vladislav Namestnikov all scored. Connor has four goals and 12 assists in his last 10 games against Chicago.

The Blackhawks are still a young team that makes some mistakes, which will lead to Jets goals, as Winnipeg should also add an empty-netter to get a big win.
